I just joined HubPages yesterday, and I haven't created a Hub yet. I am the newest of newbies. But one thing I haven't yet found a real explanation for is how all the potential earnings I could make GET to me and my bank account. Do I need PayPal? Do they send links of some kind to my email address? How do I GET the actual money that my Hubs will hopefully help me earn?
OK, so you joined hubpages and are completely new.
So I am assuming that as yet you haven't got a Google Adsense account.
What you need to do is write 2-3 more hubs, then apply for a Google Adsense account.
Once you have that, put your ID number in the box for it in your profile.
Then just write as many good hubs as you can - and promote them where you can.
As people discover your hubs, some of them will click on an advert that google placed there. When that happens you will earn money. The money you are owed/earn is tallied up by Google and when you have reached the minimum payout amount they will send you a cheque.
Google actually don't send me a cheque, I'm verified with them and have given them my bank details and they just pump money into my bank account once a month. I don't even look, I know it's there because it's Google.
I hope that helped a bit.
Read the FAQ on earnings,

You mean Nobody has explained where the money comes from?
If you look out of your window... perhaps you will be lucky enough to see a tree.
If you're Really Lucky.. it will not be Autumn atm.
Look really closely... can you see your account details?
It should there... Where it says bank & Branch!
If not.... check the next tree
BTW.... Welcome HP
How much each Hub earns depends on the Hub, the traffic, the ads, etc.; so it's not really possible for anyone to give you any guesses about what you can earn.
Google Ad Sense is paid directly to the Hubber, either by mail or direct deposit into a bank account (if that's what the Hubber prefers). Amazon payments go directly into a bank account (if you want), as well. I don't know what Kontera or eBay do, but you can find that if you sign up with them and look for that information on their site. All money earned on HubPages is earned from advertisers of the Hubber's choosing (among the programs offered on HubPages, which is the four I mentioned). You have to sign up with any program you want to use on your Hubs, or you won't get paid at all.
If you are earning through Adsense then you can request to mail a cheque or direct deposit to your bank account.

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...

Since 2010, I've been accumulating pennies in my Google Adsense account, waiting for the day I'd hit the $100 pay threshold. I checked it a couple of weeks ago, it was at $94 and change. Today, all the numbers are GONE!!! I see no evidence that it's been added to my HubPages ads...

You can't. Just had to put that out there as I'm seeing newbies all over the forums going on about these topics lately.Serious money comes from getting views from Google NOT from having other hubbers visit your work. Some of the top hubbers on the site have separate accounts NO ONE knows about to...
