I am wondering how to reply to a certain reply in a forum topic.
I had noticed a message in a box and a reply to it below.
you can use the quote/reply button which is at the bottom of the reply box. It allows you to, in a sense, copy a hubber's post, in part or in full.
you can cut and delete certain sections of a reply as well, as long as you leave the beginning quote:username and ending quote:username sections in tact.
I see! Thanks, janetta. When I reply, I usually delete the message. So, there's my mistake! Let me see if I have this done correctly now in this reply.
when you click REPLY you will go to a new page, and there is a link to formatting tips. That might be helpful? Its been helpfull to me anywya. Plus, Eagle Kiwi told me how to make smileys. My life has been good ever since.
wait, sorry if I am late..still need smiley advcie? OK. You can click at the very very bottom right hand corner, and it says "post a reply" but....after each response you can QOUTE reply...so, do you want to quote? like, right now...quote me? or just put a response to the Orignal Poster?
for a basic smiley
type with no spaces : ) I put spaces so you could see the keys? Hit the formatting tips, it explains the rest...
when leaving a reply, u can click on 'formatting tips' which will show u how to add italics, smileys, bold etc. or u can just use the same smileys u would for say a text or email, for example--: + ) =

Hi,A little bird told me that HubPages are considering charging Forum Users for the amount of space that they take up when they reply to Forum posts, and quote screen after screen of someone elses comments above their own one line contributions. This makes the forums very hard to read, as it's hard...

Hey everyone,If you look at the HubPages homepage while you’re signed in, you’ll notice quite a change: we’ve moved to a Feed-centric layout (you’ll also notice that the Feed is no longer visible in the header), and made some simplifications to the interface. Kudos to Fawntia who built this great...

So, I've always thought it was the polite thing to do to reply to commenters, and thank them for their time and input, and I've made an effort to do so consistently. However, I'm wondering if this is now being discouraged by HP, as there is no available comment box for replies on hubs that have been...

When replying to a forum post, we are given the opportunity to "import and edit the quote." If the comment to be quoted contains an image, only the text below the image will be imported, the image and any text above it is not captured. As long as you're looking at that code anyway, it...
