        I second Rat! Love that whole Ego monologue at the end.

      Shrek is the only animated movie that I liked in my adult life.  I would rather not watch cartoons but I have watched plenty taking the grandkids to the movies.  Shrek had the spark to get me to enjoy it; the others didn't.

        I love Miyazaki toooo. Spirited Away/Howl's Moving Castle would be at the top for me! Blow Disney out of the water imo.
        I also <3 the Last Unicorn, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Ghost in the Shell.

        I am so with you on these though I have yet to see Princess Mononoke but I do love the other movies. Trying to get my hands on Kik's Delivery Service...

        Also really loved The Cat Returns and oen I wrote a hub on Whispers of the Heart. big_smile

        A lot of the movies listed are awesome.
        Has anyone seen the mini movies disney use to make like:
        Lambert the Sheepish Lion (1952)
        Ferdinand The Bull (1938)
        Lonesome Ghosts (1937)
        Willie the Operatic Whale (1946)
        Peter and the Wolf (1946)
        A Donald Duck Cartoon (1946)
        thier are more but these stuck out the most
