The Marine says that a belief based in fear is bad.

    Love has no fear.

    I believe in love.

The Marine or a Marine as there are quite a few on here, I do not like people trying to marginalize a group of very brave and dedicated people who sacrifice much to preserve a way of life. The offhand insults flowing through the forums this past hour have gotten out of hand and the next time someone has something biting to say about Marines I suggest you go take one's place on the frontline so he or she can come home and live out their days in peace. As for the person you refer to, let it go and move on all this is only making it worse and dragging out this farce.

Not at all. I stated what he believes and has said is all.
He thinks love has fear as he has just said rith in the topic.
I respect Marines and was merely pointing out his belief.

the comments were individual to one who loves his "individual mindset". His avatar has marine in it. We are all very proud of our marines and military forces, they were not collective in the comments made.

that being said, maybe you could give him some orders that would make him stop. Are you a superior officer?

so love is not reliable. And this happens because love is not perfect, as it's a creation of Man, as all other feelings are. Mind games

Love is the guide to all things loving and love never fails.
Love is an action and it takes the action of love at all times and it is not subject to anything.

No, it's a state of being.  You can chose to love someone depending on what your mind wants you to do.  But love in itself is not fear, it is love.

The fear is not about being loved, it's about not being loved.

You assume I did not see it ?

You cannot say "Yes, grouped belief is always a bad thing."

And follow it with "But, sometimes some must follow for sacrifice."

Making an absolute statement cannot be followed by the word "BUT....."
          That is a contradiction. smile

          By your statements.
          A) following is bad = following to sacrifice is bad

Without sacrifice, we would have no country, so sacrifice is good to follow.
You will learn to sacrifice for your son I hope.

One thing is for sure, you must sacrifice in order to learn real love.

You are capable of learning. Some must sacrifice for the freedom for others to be individuals. They shouldn't have to sacrifice for an entire life as your bible request them to. Yes, without some to sacrifice/follow, there would be no one to do the individuals work.

You did not correct your statement the "following is always bad"

I said that you are capable of learning. That was my admission. You can see my contradiction, but can't see the bibles? Grouped belief is bad unless it is sacrifice for one/ones you love. A belief should not be loved. A belief is not a person. Argue that enlightened one.

A person can have a belief.

                  Or a way of life.

A person can believe in a person too...like when a child believes in their father and mother.

Yes, even when the parents teach the child to have a racist belief. The child should love the racist belief they were raised with, right?

                    Nothing is absolute.

The word love does not equal love when it is repeated over and over! lol

    It makes love equal insanity!

Fear is natural and everyone experiences it. It helps keep us alive.
The fear a combatant faces is also natural and it can drive you either of two ways, fight or flight. A MARine and his comrades in other services and first responders act in spite of their fear. TAhey channel their fear into positive action.
As a forme combat Marine, I say to all my brothers and sisters in uniform, Semper Fi!
