I absolutely despise doing the dishes!!! I'll do mountains of laundry with no (well maybe a couple) complaints, I'll dust furniture till the cows come home, but please don't make me do the dishes!!!!

So what chores do you hate??

Pleasuring my wife.  I mean, it's basically the same task I perform all day at the office, but now I have to do it at home for no pay.  I'm really stuck in a rut.

Yeah I thought the same thing....You know it can be fun pleasuring your wife...maybe you need to change jobs. by the way I love doing dishes...I don't like to have them in my way I get rid of them as fast as I can and I am a chef which means I cook alot and have lots of dishes but I clean as I go and never have a pile.

      Poopie diapers.
I certainly did my share day and night.
Now I "rub it in" with my adult kids who both just got married earlier this year.
The jury is out whether or not grandpa will change diapers on grandkids, but I probably will if I really have to.

Can't believe I'm old enough to be a grandpa--next spring.

If I cook the wife does the dishes, if she cooks I do the dishes. If my son is home for dinner he does the dishes. Rule is if you cook you don't have to do the dishes! Spread the wealth. smile

Dusting, Dishes, & Toilets....But of those 3 I despise, I'd do the dishes first. I am much better now than when a young lady on my own. My mother loves to tell the story of visiting me in my 1st apartment & finding all my dirty dishes hiding in the oven.

    To get rid of chores....

Go to your computer.  Right-click on your desktop.  Select "New", and then select "Folder".  Title the folder "Chores".  Then, right-click on the new folder, and select "delete"! There you go, you've deleted your chores.

Now... wouldn't it be nice if it were really that easy?

I hated doing dishes all my life until I learned to wear disposable gloves, they are light enough to grab the dishes without dropping wet glass but you don't feel the yuk...I just go ahead and do them now without thinking about it, unless I can get dear Gina to stay around to do them, ha ha!  Just kidding Mon ami!

I actually quit doing any cleaning chores for several months because I live with pigs. Can't see a spill on the counter till it is an inch deep. So I migrated to my bedroom (I do share this with my husband) but this is where I spent most of my time for several months. I just wanted to see how long it would take them to figure out how to clean as they go. Then I hurt my back at work so was stuck in the house for a few weeks and couldn't stand it. So here I am all manic about the mess again. There is just no way to win with chores.

I hate making the bed, because it has to be perfect.  I also hate most housework of any kind - so I try to do it before it gets to be a huge task.

I enjoy dishes...well, enjoy is the wrong word.  I'll happily and without complaint handle every single aspect of maintenance in the kitchen.  I don't know...i might have a complex about controlling what I eat or how clean my dishes are.

I pretty much hate every other chore, though.  Put me in the kitchen and set me loose!

Always enjoyed doing dishes too. For me it's almost a zen like activity, very relaxing. I enjoy most chores except for one: dusting. Always seemed to be an incredible waste of time. As soon as I train the kid to do it right, that will be another of his chores.

Kinda lucky here in that as my youngest son's gotten older he's developed a passion for cooking. He's created some wonderful dishes on his own (sans cook book) such as a breakfast calzone made of biscuit dough, bell peppers, onions, cheese, spicy sausage, and a secret blend of spices (he won't tell me which, but they were delicious). Love cooking myself, which is good as neither one of my wives could do it.
