Question for the informed - is it only about the votes or does publication criteria include traffic stats? Guess my question is do we have to click through to the site or just vote for our fellow hubbers? If we do click through that's going to automatically increase hubscores too isn't it?

OK, some answers to questions asked here.

Yes, there is no PR yet, it's a brand new site. I just discovered it myself yesterday night. PR will come, and while it is nice to have - any extra link, even from a page without PR helps your ranking. Think what you put in anchor, though

Don't submit only your site/hubs, please. Nobody really likes that, unless it is specifically encouraged. This is not the case here. So, try to diversify.

Getting on the first page is nice, but it does not have any SEO effect. Neither of those sites is DIGG, so nobody will pick your links from there and publish all over the net. Even for PR5 dropjack homepage SEO benefits are limited to a couple of weeks while Google remembers that there once was a link to your hub there.

What I do - I try to get as many votes as possible - votes are links from other profiles that transfer link juice internally. And I social bookmark details page to bring in some external link love
