this morning around 6:30am I was awake thankfully because hubby had to get up for work but still. My phone goes off and I look to see that my best friend is calling? I don't accept the call thinking it's too early I'll call her back later. I listen to the message a while later and it's her and her sister arguing over their dog. She didn't even know she was calling me. HAHAHAHA
Then an hour later I was getting ready to try and get some sleep and my husband calls. I call him back thinking he forgot something or wanted to tell me something. NOPE His ass called me LMAO Whole new meaning to Booty call! HAHAHA
And this wasn't the first time his butt has called me either...or text me nonesense. lol

Has this ever happened to you guys? was it a text message or a "booty" call? big_smile

a few months ago, this guy called my cell and left this message:

"Hey there Steffy, how's it going? I'm going to be in town this Saturday and hope we can hook up! Give me a call back, 'k?"

i didn't know him so i didn't call him back, plus i couldn't see his number because it was restricted, so i thought that would be the end of it. later that day i had another voice message:

"Hey Stef...just wanted to let you know I'm on my way to the airport and I will be staying at the Sheraton in Tucson. I hope we can get together for drinks. I called so-and-so and we're all going to get together so call me back."

His number was PRIVATE and he didn't leave a number so i couldn't call him back to tell him this wasn't Steffy.

the next morning he called again at 5:30 in the morning and this time i answered, fumbling for the phone and he goes "HEY, Steffy! I have been trying to catch you!" and i said um i'm not Steffy...and he was really embarrassed and apologetic.

do people even look at numbers? i can see once but three times?

      weirrrd....

yeah i have also gotten messages where people think they have hung up but didn't and they will be talking to someone...haha i feel like a fly on the wall or something. smile

It happened many times when my husband had a voice activated phone.  Every time he said 'home' I got a call.  Usually he was talking with someone at work and had no idea that the phone had called me!

A friend's child called me a several times on her cell phone.

I see. That happened to my brother once. His cell phone rang and he picked up. There was silence on the other end, and he kept saying "Hello," and whistling so that the guy would hear him and hang up.

I would have just hung up and switched my phone on silent or something, but he went to all that effort. roll

I had a friend who recorded something for his phone's answering machine or whatever. The one sound was a couple going at it, and the other had him say "Hello?", to which the person would naturally respond, and then another "Hello?", and then there was a beep for the person to leave a message. Cold.

The best thing is not just crank calling someone, but to call them in the middle of the night. Let the phone ring for a while and then hang it up. I used to do that when I was younger. I dunno, I was bored.

and Anti I use to do that too...our worse prank was getting a real ticket from a security cop, writing it out, and putting it on a guy friend's car. HE THOUGHT IT WAS REAL!!! HAHAHAHAHA

    Nice picture big_smile.

Just playing, I read through it, and it seems good. The only thing I would suggest is that the last paragraph was a little repetitive and perhaps confusing for me. Maybe if you just reworded it and made it shorter.

Just a thought, don't kill me! yikes
