the NASA budget is 9 billion. that's a drop in the bucket compared to the money we've wasted in bailouts and war spending. not to mention forien aide . many see space as a waste of money .but were wasting money left and right. if were gona waste money lets at least do it wisely .
Too true; when a species such as ours adamantly refuses to admit coevolution with all the others on this planet (& subsequently destroy them, perceiving many as 'yucky') it's high time we got off it: where else to go than space.
It's a hell of alot better use of money than where it's been going!
I don't know nothing about nasa, but aware asked me to post. So
Hi aware! Good thread! It will be overcrowded eventually
ty for reply the ? isn't spurring much interest. 90 % of all life that has been on earth is now extinct . thats what this planet does best . if we dont leave it we will face extinction to i think
For our planet Earth's good, it is better to reduce its population by going to the moon. But what does it mean? Another colonisation? That process will take more than a millennium to colonise it. Imagine... From bricks to cement and labour to finance, all have to go from our earth. What impact will it have here?
We have not yet used more than 50% of earth's surface yet... Siberia... Canada.... Tibet... Brazil.... polar regions.. all these places have plenty of spaces to accommodate humanity. Why should we look for the moon?
A portion of NASA's research is just another arm of the military armaments complex. I've read that everyone on the face of the earth could live in an area the size of the state of Texas. Overpopulation is a myth. Instead of giving up on our planet we need to take care of it better. We know more about space than our own planet. Our oceans are now just starting to be mapped. It is fiction that we will be living on other planets in the future, besides it's not needed, unless we destroy our own planet, with possibly new technologies coming from NASA. The money spent on NASA could be better spent elsewhere. Scrap NASA.
All I have to say is was it worth all that money to Bomb the Moon, I mean really?
Possibly new technology for our mining industry here on earth. Yikes.
Besides zadrobi has already found the moon. There should be a crater named after him. The Zadrobi Crater
It is a waste of funds to bomb the moon's surface by the NASA. It has not bombed the place where the previous moon missions landed. It just bombed the place where the Indian Chandrayan mission found traces of water. It would have been better if a sharp instrument was sent to dig the surface. The impact on the moon's surface may be dangerous for the moon itself.

The last men had set foot on its surface during the early 1970s. It is time to return to do great science and get a base constructed at the lunar South Pole.

Noah's Arc left behind most people and animalsWas that an Evil or a Good act?My thoughts is Safety first! Automatic I've would of thrown out life jackets or peaces of wood for all of God's creatures to be saved during the flood. If God made everything perfect, why would God have 95% of Land Animals...

He may have asked, but I made that up to open a door. And it is a social issue that will soon be internationally political. As a bonus, it also involves Elon Musk. One trend of speculation was about Musk's triad of companies as the three legs of his thrust to establish 'bases' on Mars. The same...

Should the bombing of the moon be open for public debate before any further NASA bombing commences?NASA are searching for water...But using powerful bombs to do it. Who knows what damage could be done!

# The Sun is 330,000 times larger than the Earth.# The moons of all other planets in the solar system are named after Greek gods, except for those of Uranus, which are named after Shakespearean characters.Got more?
