I signed up for Kontera a week or so ago.  The code is set under the affiliate settings, but I am not sure if I am seeing any Kontera stuff on any of my Hubs.  What does Kontera ads look like?

Plus, I was poking around the Kontera site this morning & come upon "Contentlink" & am wondering where I am supposed to paste the "tag" from Kontera on my HubPages?

Thanks in advance for any & all help.

I do not use kontera myself. They require you earn a minimum of $5 each month and I am no where near there yet! If you earn under that they keep it! The ads from what I understand are region based, and some regions will not actually show em. Also if you are logged in you will not see them (as I understand it) and will have to log out and view their ads if you are in a good region to see ads. I have seen these ads on pages before, I didn't really like em. They take a word in your text and make it clickable, looks like clickable text with an embedded url but instead pops up an ad. I do know that some folks make money with them but it seems its not really helpful for newbies trying to learn how to earn some passive income here. Personally I have not bothered with kontera yet, when I can earn a nice income monthly and have honed my writing to good commercial effect I may well give them a try but for now am sticking with adsense and amazon.

I believe Relache is our resident Kontera expert. See this post she made a while back:  http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/19760#post313636

To earn a minimum of $5 each month from Kontera is like shaking hands with God.

No it isn't, but it does take a fair number of page views and a completely different optimization strategy.

You won't see any Kontera ads on your own Hubs unless you sign out of the site and then look.  They are double underlined, that's how you'll recognize them.  And once you've put your affiliate code in the appropriate slot in HubPages, that's all you have to do to set them up.  Kontera picks what words it turns to links.

I need to say, that i wasn't a kontera fan either, but lately i earn more with kontera than i do with google adsense. I am happy when i get one click a day with adsense, while with kontera i get between 4 and 10 clicks a day.

::shrugs:: Dont know about all that.
I've been with Kontera for over two years, never had any problems at all with payout, got amazing customer service (compared to Adsense which has none, heck even YPN has better customer service than Adsense) in short, I've never had any of the problems that were in the comments section.
And right now Kontera is coming in at roughly half of what I make with Adsense...and climbing.
    Maybe Kontera just likes me.
