Has a Famous Person ever sent you a Twitter message?

    I follow a lot of people on Twitter and occasionally will send a "tweet" out to a famous person with no response (obviously).

    One day, I sent out a general tweet to everyone following me and said "Is it sad that I send out tweets to Rob Thomas in the hopes that he responds?"

    About 5 minutes later, Rob Thomas tweeted me back, "So sad smile"

    I almost fell out of my chair  haha

    If you don't know who Rob Thomas is, he is the lead singer of Matchbox 20, plus has a huge solo career.  He has written some of my most favorite songs in the 90's and 2000's.

    Anyway, that was my famous Twitter story.

    Anyone else get a famous tweet?

    Lots of artists, musicians, broadcast celebs, but one is Karl Rove, who re-tweeted me by sending a message that said: Tnx. It is the encouragement of people like you that will keep me writing and speaking on behalf of the conservative cause. I thought that was really nice of him.
