I had warnings on a few of my hubs that I might have had too many tags so I removed the ones that I thought were arguably not a big part of the subject matter, and, which is great, it appears that my hub scores have gone up, but now there is a new problem. In my tags map there are now invalid tags and no way I can find to delete them! Is there any way they can be removed?
They will disappear in a day or so. For performance reasons we recalculate the aggregate author tags periodically, not in real time as the tags on a hub change (or hubs are published or unpublished, etc.).
Good to know, I encountered the same problem but I didn't checked my tag map yet
I didn't realise that you could have too many tags. Thanks for sharing.

Is it possible to have too many tags?I use most of the suggestions given to me (by HubPages) when I write an article. Do tags really make a difference?

Is it possible to add too many tags to a hub?I find that sometimes there are so many tags that would fit the topic of my hub, but I feel like I am using too many.
