   " God Whispers when the World is Loud" of course he talks to us but some of us are sometimes to busy to pay attention and listen.

      I always listen when he tells me what I want to hear.... 
      It is hard to hear  "no... not today"  just kidding  but kinda not... just sayin... sometimes the most important things are the hardest to see no matter how close and up front to our eyes that they are.  We should try the hardest to see things that we think that we don't want to see.   Or something like that.

      I agree we are not, we are like chatty little children who do not pay attention to a parent and when he says " No" we run off and throw a fit until we get our way.

         You are so right. And I used to think no was a prayer that went unanswered. I had to learn sometimes the answer is "no" from M*A*S*H of all places. Never forgot the episode.

            I agree with all of you.  God talks all the time and no is an answer and it doesn't mean it's a rejection.  But people misunderstand when they don't get their own way and then behave like little children.

   here are two more samples
   i received for the same friend.
   He went through a lot of hurts..his wife left him with his boy.
   He hated life ; he hated God.He was jobless.Spent all his time on web games.
   
   thus says the Almighty God to you:
   
   Life is a puzzle.
   There are many puzzles in our lives.
   You  need to fix them ,the puzzles all fitting together perfectly
   to form a solid piece, a perfect picture..a big picture of life
   But you need to patiently fix them, piece by piece
   Day after day slowly one by one
   
   The same thing in our life
   The right piece at the right place… only will it fit
   The right piece at the right time
   The right piece at the right cause
   Only can the puzzles in our lives start to fix.
   
   Many things had happened in our lives are like puzzles.
   Many things that happened are  hard to understand
   There are too many WHYs and HOWs no one can answer
   Those MEMORIES, DARK SECRETS, TURMOILS and BITTERNESS
   Nobody would  understand
   
   Who can put all these puzzles together?
   And try to fix them together
   In order to see a big picture
   
   All these puzzles that happened….why?
   They all happen for a reason., for a purpose
   Because they all join together for a bigger purpose, a bigger picture
   Only the CREATOR who created us can know
   Only I can fix all the many  puzzles together
   To form a big picture.
   All the pieces of puzzles by themselves
   Have no picture, no meaning
   
   IT takes time to fit so many puzzles together
   Don’t hurry time, but wait upon Me,the creator to fix them all
   Only I know how, what is best, for I can see the big picture
   I know and I feel for you
   But it’s up to you to decide
   Whether you believe I can fix all the puzzles in your life
   Whether you want Me to be real in your life.
   
   Don’t resent Me, the One who created you.
   Nothing wrong to give your creator a chance to prove Himself
   Don’t resent Me, but allow Me to start work
   To start the long process of fixing all the puzzles in your life
   To start work restoring back your life
   To a perfect solid piece, a big beautiful picture
   All can see and admire.
   I, the creator is creative
   I want to be close to his creations
   Let Me."

   "Trust Me in times of trouble.
   All I require is a little faith, as small as a mustard seed.
   Don’t look down upon this faith, because it can move a mountain.
   Open up your heart to Me.
   People might had hurt you and harm you in any way, but it is different with Me.
   Have a personal encounter with Me.
   It is not an overnight thing to know Me, and to be close to Me.
   It’s our daily walk with Me that draws us close to Me.
   Be patient and give Me, the Lord a chance.
   I will never abandon you or anyone.
   Sometimes it’s not that I do not speak to you,
   but you are not listening, or u just don’t want to .
   Although you can’t hide your thoughts or feelings from Me, because I know and feel them all,
   I still wants you to open up to Me,
   to express them out to Me.
   You got to know that a person who is
   willing to be nailed on the cross and to be whipped and beaten
   when He was innocent, got to love you right?
   I know you, not just by your name, but I created you.
   I knew u when u were still in your mother's womb.
   What more can be said.
   Many questions are left unanswered
   because many do not knock on heaven’s door.
   They did not wait upon Me, and we gave up on Me.
   
   People who has no hope and purpose in life
   are people who do not have Me in their lives.
   They  get lost when I AM not put first in our lives.
   They feel life is not worth living and is meaningless,
   Everything appears to be so bleak.
   But do you know  how glorious I AM?
   How wonderful heaven is?
   Let the My love fills your heart, take over the emptiness and hurts that are in you.
   Let Me heal you."

   yes i agree with u Flightkeeper.
   God does indeed speaks, but in many ways
   and some are given special gifts to receive with the help of
   many angels..really!
   
   2 more examples received word for word from the Lord
   (or else how can i write those words myself?i wish i can)
   
   to a girl not happy with things in life....
   the Lord says to you.....
   
   Life is not what it seems.
   
   It's like a kite, where everything is unpredictable.
   
   You'll never know when the wind would stop and your kite drops
   
   but you'll never either know when the wind would be very strong
   
   to carry your kite up.
   
   Life is an ever changing process.
   
   But one thing's for sure,
   
   you will have happiness and satisfaction
   
   when you find the truth in life.
   
   The true meaning of life is not
   
   about carrying out a routine
   
   and going into the grave at the end of the day.
   
   No! It's about living life to the maximum,
   
   where our lives affect the people around us,
   
   impact those who we meet on our way in this life.
   
   And to do that, you would need God's glory.
   
   To men, it is impossible to be perfect or even to live right,
   
   it's just too hard, but with God, the One who created us,
   
   He alone can give us true grace and mercy.
   
   Try knowing Him more,
   
   because He is so much more than a God sitting up here in heaven.
   to a divorced mother struggling to cope with life n 3 children...
   
   
   the Lord says to you...
   
   What's important in life is who we really are,
   
   and what we place our beliefs in.
   
   We'll lose everything around us one day.
   
   Friends come and friends go;
   
   our loved ones will one day leave us.
   
   We can't bring what we own now on this earth to heaven.
   
   But there's one thing that remains eternally,
   
   and that is, our souls.
   
   This life on earth is hard and very complicated,
   
   but if God were to hold your hand through every second of your life,
   
   you would see everything in a different perspective.
   
   Things will still be hard and not smooth going,
   
   but you would never feel lost again.
   
   It's like a child being guided by the father,
   
   and feels so protected.
   
   Go to the Lord,
   
   and you will find comfort there.
   
   He'll never let His children be forsaken.

   Short and to the point.  I see many Christians get so busy doing the work of Christ but then neglect their personal relationship with him. We have to have prayer time, reading the word, and getting filled by His presence that refills us and keeps our oil lamps burning, otherwise we burn out!  I hope you join my hub as well, I'm new at this hubbing but I'm navigating around to join writers that I enjoy their material.  I look forward to fellowshipping with you.

      Amen to that sister. The only way we can grow in Christ is to talk to him on a daily basis. Read and meditate on his word and live by his example. Our God is just as big today as he was in the beginning of time. His mercies are new every morning and i am so glad that i have a personal relationship with him.

    It may depend on which god ya got goin there. The old testament one just says "thou shalt not" followed by your name, the new testament one offers a new list of options.

    No, I do how ever believe that people can hallucinate through.
    If suddenly you start hearing a voice that says that they are god, then i would like to suggest that you see a doctor. It's not that im calling you crazy but if there is nothing wrong with you and every thing is okay then you can prove to people that god is real . . .

    God absolutely speaks to His people.  The Bible confirms this by saying if we don't have wisdom or are lacking it that we can ask the Lord who gives it generously and freely.  The bonus is He's not trying to hide it.  He wants us to know and be enlightened.
    
    That's why his Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light into our path.  There is no darkness in Him.  There is no confusion in Him.
    
    Simply peace. Nothing missing or lacking. 
    
    The Rhema and Logos Word are real and are absolute Words to live by.

       A book tells you it is right about what is written in it, not some independent verifiable external source like all other proof has, none of those in 2000 years. Must be right tho because it says it is!

    God certainly does talk to us. Why would our Creator make us the way He did and not give us the ability to communicate with Him? Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice". Those who are His sheep HEAR His voice. It didn't say we can or will. It said we HEAR. We also need to check to make sure it is God we are hearing by testing the spirits. Just ask, "Do you confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and came in the flesh"? If you hear YES, then its God. If not, don't listen to that voice.

       though the seed of Him is in all, the voice is not
       as you speak to yourself and respond, so also He speaks.
       
       You know your fathers voice, yes?
       So also, we who know our Abba, know His voice.
       
       We need not seek or speak to Him outwardly.
       His breath, His words, His voice made us.

          FYI, Allah is not thought of in the same way as the Christian god or the Abrahamic god, although the Abrahamic god and Allah are one and the same. Just more inconsistencies and contradictions.

             plus to state that, you must know all 'three'.
             
             FYI, The Hebrew/Arab god is the same as the Christian one.
             Might want to read up on that, it will assist in avoiding such contradictions and inconsistencies.
