Of course its not against the rules of hubpages, you just need to determine whether or not it is against the rules of Associated Content. I thought that an editor had to accept your work? I doubt that they are going to accept anything hyperlinked to hubpages.
You certainly can include links to hubpages in your AC articles -
I dont have a single AC article that doesnt include outbound links to hubpages or other sites that i control.
The links are nofollow
I slip in a link or two. Not too obvious. Just hyperlink a keyword somewhere in the body of the text. I avoid putting a 'read more' right at the end. I allow the Associated Content article to stand up for itself.
he link is there if people want to find out more information related to that hyperlinked keyword.
So far that has worked for me.

I just came across this news article:http://money.cnn.com/2010/05/18/technol … /index.htmThought I'd share since some of you write for AC.

You don't get rights to your work, they pay so little per 1,000 views, they don't pay you for adsense clicks. Why in the world would anyone write there? yes, they do upfront payment, but it's miniscule. Can anyone who writes for them tell me why? Am I missing something?I must admit, I...

Can I make Hubs from my non-exclusive Associated Content articles? It's my original content, but...I didn't know if this counted as duplicate content.
