This is my very first time here. I created a page tonight to try it out. When I went to "publish" the message I receive in the lower left hand corner of the page reads "Error."
What is happening? Do I need to do something further prior to publishing?
I think it's just an error, I'm sure it's been reported to the whoevers and will be working soon, make sure you save your hub (save unpublished) and you will not lose it, you can just publish it when they fix they error. Welcome to hubpages. What was your article on?
I am a college consultant, so I thought I would write something on the college application and research process. Very easy read with helpful links.

We're looking into the problem. It appears to only affect Internet Explorer users, so if you have another browser handy you might try it (for instance Firefox, Chrome, or Opera).
I understand now...our computers don't like any of is tonight...that or the net doesn't like us
I have only had it happen to me once and my boss' laptop--which is what I've been using for the past month or so--has Mozilla Firefox.
Maybe that's why it was no problem to publish THIS latest hub:

I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but it takes forever an a day to publish a new hub on my computer. I've tried two different computers.The hubs never publish in their current browser. After a few minutes I open a new tab or a new browser and the hub shows that it's published, but...

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery.What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?

So, I understand I can't publish any content on here that I have used for another site. But can I publish on here first, then carry those articles over to another site? Is that allowed? Cause on the other sites I write for allow me to republish content on them... Also, I read that the hubs are...
