Hi Guys (First Post On the Forum)
Can I improve my Hubscore by driving more traffic to my Hubs from outside sites and the like?
Thanks for you help
This is a great way to improve both hub scores and author score not to mention providing you with traffic that might actually click on ads, earning you money! Hubber traffic is great as we lot will do stuff like make comments, this adds to the richness of the hub but we do not generally click ads as we don't want to upset google
To be honest, your Hubs (from what I have seen) are landing pages, created to drive traffic to a specific website. HubPages has designed their system and algorithms to purposely downgrade rankings on Hubs built like this, and even driving external traffic to your Hubs may not result in much of a change in your HubScore.
I have to agree with Relache. I work on the internet and affiliate marketing is my program of choice.
The key is to use Hubpages properly. Using it the wrong way will get you know where.
Using it exclusively for sales will get you no where.
You may want to re think your approach

I just started hubbing and I was wondering if those who had been here a while could let me know what kind of results they have had with the referral program? Has anyone tried running advertisements with their hubpage url anywhere? What kind of results did that get? Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone is making any significant money from their pages. Or are people just doing this for having fun.

I'm open to suggestions on how to improve my hubs and my traffic. My hubs generate traffic, just not large volumes. I read where a fellow hubber had received over 800 views in a day. The most views I've received is 200+ in a day, and this was only on one hub. It's not happened since then. Any help...

I saw backlinking as one. What exactly is backlinking? How can we use Google Webmaster Tools to improve traffic? What are the changes to be made in the crawl rate after logging in, if any? Its been close to three months into Hubpages and I am getting a majority of my views from Hubpages. My Google...

Here's something for you guys to consider, and I am simply reiterating a comment I made on another post. You need organic traffic to your Hubs! Why? If you are using adsense, or any other monetization method on Hubpages, you will not, I repeat, you will NOT get credit for clicks on your ads from...
