For YOU, what is most valuable and precious in your belief system?

   I identify myself as a Christian, in the sense that I am a follower of Jesus.  What I find most valuable and precious is that Jesus judged no one.  Now I work at this!!  Heck yes, I judge all the time, but try to be conscious of it and stop myself.  I'm batting about 300--good in baseball, but it means 70% failure!  I find when I don't judge others, I am much more accepting of my self as I really am--flawed, and I am much more compassionate of others.  Life is a lot less complicated and peaceful being humble in the best and truest sense of humility.
   So what is most precious and valuable to you in your belief system?  Even if you practice being an agnostic or atheist, what is most valuable and precious for YOU in that practice?

   Don't know about definitions of Christian. 
      If you belong to Christ they you have been judged as worthy.
      If he has judged you, who are you to continue to judge yourself? If you no longer judge yourself you will no longer have the need to judge others as less worthy than your self.
   
      Once we feel accepted we will stop thinking of ourselves as "more worthy" than anyone else.  I'm glad that it is not my job to judge. I'd have to throw myself out. And If I'm out all of yaul are coming with me. "If I'm tha JUDGE" That's the way it will be.  JUST Kidding.   But do ya get the point.

      If you don't JUDGE yourself- How do you guide your own life?
      
      It is your DUTY as a human being to judge yourself and yourself only. There is no need for judgement of others, because it adds no value, to either person's life. You making a judgement of someone else, brings you both down, at the same time. Because, you claim to be better than someone else, yet you yourself don't realize your actions, which shows ignorance of life. The other person is damaged, because you made your judgement known. Thus, making your actions immoral.
      
      
      
      You're use of the word 'accept' is appalling to say the least.
      
      If someone feels the need to be accepted by someone else, does that mean they are unaccepted by in the views of someone else?
      
      And, doesn't that defeat the purpose of thinking for oneself?
      
      Hmm....?

         You are adopting a self-defeating position and your comment is invalid. You claim that "it is your duty as a human being to judge yourself and yourself ONLY." However you immediately judged Jerami by stating that his actions are/can be immoral. If you abide by your axiom you cannot judge a single person on this or any other forum, which makes further discussion pointless. When you claim others are wrong you are judging them.

           I DIDN'T HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT FOR VERY LONG AT ALL to come to the conclusion that you are judging me eventhough you admitt that it is wrong to do so. It seems to me thay you might be the most judgmental person on these hubs. Maybe you should think about that.
           Have you realy judged yourself?
           "silly little boy",,,, do you not know the diffrence between self evaluation or evaluating another and passing judgment?
         
            You do not have the authority to pass judgment on yourself, myself or anyone else who happens to have a diffrent opinion than yourself. 
             My grandpa once told me "you aint goina ever learn nuthin while you'r talkin".

   That we are all apart of each other in spirit and it's our collective consciousness that make up our final destination.
   
   It's hard to get mad at someone or kill other living things when you know they are apart of you

   I think we are more a part of each other in many different ways, more than we realize or perhaps want to realize even if one does not believe or grasp the notion of collective consciousness.  I like the "outcome", yea, why be mad or kill someone when they are a part of me.  I like that!  I'm on my way home to a tired wife and I will remember this!!

      No matter what religious format we choose for our beliefs, the notion that "we are all one" is a common denominator to most religions.
      
      The Beatles added it to music: "I am you as you are he...".
      
      As even Science is excavating evidence that the universe is an endless "soup" of matter, a notion that came to me way back in college and is taught in religions like Buddhism; and that growing numbers of scientists are promoting that even energy is made of matter-- it seems simple to conclude that, in some fashion, we ARE all one.
      
      Or, we can simply make it a choice and say "It's a LOT less lonely to say we're all in the same boat in the cosmos."

   I identify myself as agnostic. What I find most valuable and precious is the life lessons and qualities that I have that fill my life like nothing else could. My compassion, understanding, self worth, open mind, and patience allow me to live life fully. My beliefs have allowed me to live a very rich life.

   I like the all in one boat in the cosmos.  I think some folks imagine that there is a wonderful beautiful luxury liner on the sea of life that only the very twa twa functional folks get to ride on, when perhaps there is just one huge, rusty, leaky boat that we are all on.  The name on the side of the boat is something like USS (or HMS or whatever)Bleeped Up!
     Yes there is some evidence that we have molecules that made up someone else at some other time.  I don't know how to explain that, but apparently, there is some scientific evidence of it.
