Talking about voting on this 'health'care debacle, Sen. Reid compared it to ending slavery. How completely offensive can it get?

It's highly offfensive considering slavery is still happening in America. It's just not NAMED slavery anymore.

And, if I have to explain what I mean, then obviously you have blinders on and cannot see it yourself.

      Thank you for playing.

I guess you are referring to something other than actual slavery, but do tell.

It doesn't offend anyone who matters so why bring it up?

        "Anyone who matters"?!

Yeah, even I didn't understand what he meant by the comment.

Yep, Ron held a vote. It was decided that until Sarah Palin joins Hubpages he decides who matters. The vote was unanimous by the way.

Wait, so it would offend the President, who happens to be black, and by default anyone who shares the same ethnicity as the President, because ultimately they, in your eyes, do not matter? Hopefully I'm misinterpreting your response.

Tksensei, I don't personally find that particular comment offensive, but admittedly so, I have not heard the comment in its proper context.

Yeah, I would say you are misinterpreting my response! I personally do not care what offends Obama or anyone who shares his ethnicity or my ethnicity! That was a response that Ron would understand and not meant for anyone else!

Oh, then please accept my apology for misunderstanding your personal forum message to Ron.

I find it more ironic than offensive. A politician attempting to carve out an electorate by creating dependency through government entitlement. All in the name of making people indipendent.....AMAZING!

Ried is part of this movement to strip us of our rights in ALL aspects. Ried must be defeated in his re-election, time to push back now

Reid's comment is offensive to internet trolls.  They don't matter, so I don't care if they're offended.

Don't bother, I think he prefers to drop in random comments without explanation or meaning. Of course, it does spur conversation so it's a good approach.

I think most of them are inside jokes, but I don't follow every post, so obviously I missed out.

I miss the funny pictures, Ron.
