I don't only believe it or think it. It is a fact that I know. The devil has you blinded. Only you can remove the blindness.
Gal 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
I would like to get a vote to create some awareness of who thinks this is logical.
I vote it is ridiculous and irrational.
Logical Irrational

Do you think it logical that one man could go up against 450 at one time without modern weapons of war that we have these days?
Sorry, I forgot to add your vote that you think it's logical to believe the devil is keeping me from believing the bible.
Here is the catch. No matter what I think to be rational or not makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. You can use logic or rational from now until you die, and it is still only your opinion and means nothing.
Using logic only, explain to me how the devil is keeping me from believing the bible.
Logic cannot save you. Rememeber up above in this thread I asked if you actually put the Bible to the test? You said you used logic and know it is false. (paraphrased)
Have you truly tried the Word? I mean really put it to the test, not just think about it. If you put it to the test, your eyes will be open.
I would like an answer about one man against 450 with no modern type weapons.
Earnest, it doesn't matter if it is democratic or not.
Eyes? I thought it only takes the heart?
Now, logically explain how the devil is keeping me blinded to your belief.
What is the point to your question?
Eyes of understanding.
Satan tells you that you don't need God. You have your own mind and you are brilliant and can figure things out for yourself. A good fight never hurt anyone.
The point is that you did not really put the Word to the test. You merely drew your own conclusion from your own mind.
How can Satan tell me anything when I don't have faith in Satan? You are making a faith based assumption that I didn't put it to the test. There is no logical way for you to know what I did or didn't do, even if I told you. I have a logical mind, I drew a logical conclusion. My logic is not based on grouped beliefs and contradictions.
You ever gonna answer on why your faithful belief is constructed through your emotions? You have no idea what I have or haven't tried, thats what you want to believe. What you want to believe is faith, not logic.
You like to change the subject don't you. Many questions I asked of you and you do not answer. You keep going back to emotions.
You expect normal conversation when you write in parables and tongue? I answered your questions, you are scared to answer mine.
Now you are attempting to divert everything. I asked you before if one man with one sword against 450 with swords was logical. You want to speak of logic, but refuse to converse with me about things such as this.
I asnwered your questions about emotions. You didn't like my answer. No big deal. But please answer what I asked of you.
Go back and read, I answered your question, you didn't read it. You didn't answer me, don't lie.
You only asked what the relevance of my question was. I imagine this conversation is over.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Deleted
You didn't answer, you gave a bump and run. All I remember reading from you was that "Everyone has emotion in belief" You didn't attempt to answer the question. All you wanted to do was run circles and throw more questions at me so you didn't have to answer it.
I think I answered the wrong question in my last post.
Do you think it logical that one man could take one sword and kill 450 men who also have swords?
No.
Now stop running from my question. Explain how the devil is keeping me from having your belief.
I know I am butting in, but I would like to say that I have tried to live "the word". The only thing that was opened to me was problems and heartache. I am much happier now that I have washed my hands of religion
On this one, I would say neither. It is not illogical but nonlogical and as far as rational, you can rationalise with or without logic. Rationale is another issue altogether.

I think you have to have logic to rationalize from what you want to believe. How are they different?
god says what are you following me for
? im just heading to the pisser , do you mind?
Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Wow steady on there SirDent! You just described half the religionists on the forums!
Great passage. Psalm 1 is one of my favorites.
