So? I know people that spend more than that each week on alcohol alone, but you dont see them running around shouting about it. There are plenty of people making $60000 a year, that would only put you on par with 'middle management' in the UK. I personally know company directors that make 4 times that amount, it doesnt make you special.

    This is very wierd smile

I could earn 5000 a month easy, I have done in the past doing various jobs.  Not management, I have no trade and no degree.  Really this is not loads of money.  Where is the punchline?

  14. WriteAngled profile image74
    WriteAngledposted 14 years ago

I make approximately that much from my translations. However, it is hard work and the deadlines can be killers! I'm on HP and a couple of other sites because researching and writing up topics is a pleasant break from work. I know that probably sounds sad to many of you, but I'm a word-oriented, intellectual nerd type and don't go in for clubbing and socialising. Getting deep into a subject and finding out more and more about it is fun for me.

Should I ever manage to generate enough ongoing income from my writing to be able to cut down on translation, that will be icing on the cake.

When I reach the $5K per month mark I can quit my day job. Not live high on the hog, but live and be my own boss at least.

$5,000 a month is a nice attainable monetary goal.

However, I doubt that anything less than hard work and patience over the long haul can achieve that.

anyone who says money can't buy happiness has never been poor, or rich.

money would buy a lot of happiness for me and my child on the way. i will be happier if earn it i suppose.

For me, money brings only security. Happiness is another matter entirely.

  19. wesleyacarter profile image57
    wesleyacarterposted 14 years ago

well i think security facilitates happiness.

then again, i think that happiness is temporary.

knowing that i don't have to worry about me or my child starving gives me room to look for happiness. until that is so, happiness must wait.

    1. WriteAngled profile image74
WriteAngledposted 14 years agoin reply to this

I have learned that it is not worth sacrificing happiness for security. It was a tough lesson, but a necessary one.

Let me clarify and explain why this user made that thread..

    1) one he wanted to attract attention and create curiosity to make other users want to know what it is, hence he would tell you some business opp..

    2) this a marketing strategy from someone who actually does not know anything about online marketing..

    3) someone who makes such claim its not actually making that money, if he was making that kind of money there will be no need for him to work..

This was an failed attempt to get leads for a business..

    Hope that clarifies..

    LOL

Its easy to make $5000 a month.

    All you gotta do is:

    -Make $172.40 a day
    or
-Make $7.18 for 24 hours a day for 29 days
    or
-Make 12 cents every minute of the day for 29 days.

Its simple, just 12 cents a minute!

Gee! All you people claiming to have such wonderful income. It must be nice. I haven't received a dime of income since August
when my unemployment was cut off. I'm living off what is left of my pension buyout. With only 2 months left before I have nothing. I applied for the various affiliate accounts, so any income is going to be better than nothing!

If I had $5,000 a month, I would certainly move out of my crappy apartment, and back into a house. Even $2,000.00 a month
would be welcome. But, I need more than $1200.00 to pay my monthly bills. And, with zero income that is going to be tough as hell. But, once summer comes, I'll be able to get out more, and if I am not making money on here by then. I'm sure I will find other avenues to achieve my money goals.

I have another music hub in the works. So, maybe that will give me an extra boost. If I do one hub a day until the end of february I will have over 60 hubs. I know I can do that with no problem. I have over 50 music CDs to review. There's my bread
    and butter!

Hi earnest, may I ask what does that smiley mean? I've been wondering as you seem to use it like a forum signature in every post you make recently!

earnestshubposted 14 years agoin reply to this

It has a history and a story!
Randy put one in his posts that was a lot different to this one, and I thought here is a way for me to quickly identify my posts, but I don't want mine to be the same as Randy's.
So I right mouse clicked on randy's smiley and copied it. I then chose a different number for the file I copied, and this is the random smiley I wound up with. Cute eh? smile
