Not to make it rain on your pride, but Hubpages isn't a dating service. God, just reading these are creepy lmao. And I take it you think of yourself as "Art" because its in the "Arts" forum. Sorry Paco, not good to do that neutral .

Austin, wouldn't it be better to add that personal touch to this wonderful introduction by leaving this comment on a single person's hub? Leaving your introduction here, of all places, makes it less credible. And though I do not wish to be rude, I must agree with Thranax that reading this comment "is" creepy.

Thanks for agreeing Terence. Yeah Austin, I know you might be desperate, might be joking, can't really tell. But if your really looking for a girlfriend then there are many Hubs here to help you with your searching. You might learn a lot about girls and learn why this is "Creepy". Honestly, how can you expect to get anyone like this lol. I am not one to talk because I have a girlfriend I love a lot and found on my own irl. But I know people can really make good soul mates from online dating services if done right. Just read up so Hubs and I hope you find someone to be with!

It WAS creepy and I don't mean to be rude, either. But your message deserves to be on a dating site not on  hubpages.

For one thing austin, there's no picture on your profile, and there's not any writing about yourself. Creepy and desperate are just for starters man. It looks like your hiding something and from this side of the computer theres no telling what it is, but theres still hope put a picture up, write a little bit about yourself, publish a hub, and talk to a lady with a little respect and you will get alot father. I would think you at least need a hub score in the 90's too, LOL, but this will only get you started because I'm married and havn't had any practice in years. I hope your way isn't how it's done now.

LOL, ober.  I was "on the market" only a few years ago after my relationship broke up. As it happens,  I met the man who's now my husband online - I reckon it's the only way to meet men these days for us middle-aged old ladies - but that was on a proper dating site, not like this!

Austin, I agree you're coming across a little creepy.  If you want to be on HubPages, by all means write some Hubs - but otherwise, I think a dating site would suit you better!

( haha)My advice is as good as my spelling,"Wow Marisa." I thought all the dating online was just a scam. I didn't know it worked. When my sister said she met her husband online 3 years ago I thought she was pulling my leg. Well I guess there's honest good guys out there doing this."Oh and congradulations on your find." good goood goooood!

                                                                 ~cool~ cya!

Yes, there are!   Look at it this way, if (God forbid) you were to find yourself single, where would you go to meet a nice woman?  Everywhere seems to cater for kids these days, not grown-ups.  It seems to be tough out there for anyone over 30!

I met my guy four years ago, married for two.  He's a genuine guy whose first wife ran off with a man from her church prayer group (go figure).  I heartily recommend online dating, if you go about it the right way and don't take chances.

Sounds like the message that was written was a canned one used on multiple sites.  Hmm....

At least this guy is diverting attention from my over-promotion of myself right out of the gate.  Ha-ha!

I am very sorry to all of you. I am actually Austin, I wanted to remain anonymous in my attempt to express my affection towards another hubber. I am embarrassed by my using the incorrect vehicle to show my admiration. In the future I will email DJFunktual directly.
    lol
