Hubbers sure like to leave comments - I like it.

My blogs receive hardly any comments, but my hubs? They receive loads.

sometimes I think people just don't know what to say!  so then as long as they rate it up thats good for me!  But also the more interaction I have with others in the forums and other places the more comments I get.  I hate it when people remind me to comment or rate their hubs right there at the bottom of the dang thing, though, don't you?  I just will if I want to and don't want them TELLING me what to do!  lol  One hub was viewed 72 times but only 2 comments!  have no idea why.  But I haven't gotten any negative comments and I would actually prefer for people to tell me what they don't like so I will know.  whatever lol  hang in there!

I have asked for questions and comments, not ratings at the bottom of my hubs not so much for fellow hubbers as for my twitter friends who visit my hubs.  Is it rude to ask for these things, does it make one feel obligated.  This is a good question.

If you are busy in the forums, people will click on YOU first of all, then read your hubs.
I like having comments, but sometimes it can go too far. I have one hub in particular that gets repeat comments, and to be honest by now I am fed up with the subject.
That's what comes from having short term memory loss. I'm like whatshername in the film 'Finding nemo'. She was great! (but me to a T). Whatsyourname again?

I love my followers and the comments they leave - it makes my day and in a way makes me feel like I was worth reading which is rewarding.

to clarify - I don't mean to offend when I express my opinions - they are just my opinion!  I don't mean that it is either good or bad to ask for comments - its just I think unnecessary because there is the comment box waiting and if someone has something to say, they will.  I'm glad to discuss this but I still don't know why anyone would think they have to ask for comments and ratings!  anyway it certainly isn't RUDE to ask - just unnecessary, I think.  It would never make me feel obligated to comment unless I want to.

But I have a question maybe someone can answer - after you comment, how are you supposed to know that the hub author left you a reply to your comment with maybe a question for you?  Unless you go back to the hub - which I seldom do - how would you know there was a comment there for you that the hub author wanted you to read?  I go to my hubs and reply to the comments but how would people know I replied, do they come back to see if I left them a note?

Sometimes I see lots of replies back and forth and I don't know how they managed this?? Anybody know?

Sometimes the comments are better than the original posts, at least with my hubs

I do not always leave comments but when I do I go back through the comments you made to see if the author replied. I was not offended at all by your comment,
