I spent my holiday budget on my mac.
He got a complete upgrade for XMas. smile

Who has moved up to Snow Leopard so far?
How's it working out for you?

I'm finding that SL is more stable and faster on my core duo mac mini with 1G ram than Leopard 10.5 is on my quad core G5 with 2G ram.
Granted, mini is my home mac so it's not bogged down with thousands of files...

SL is getting a thumbs up!

Sorry!  I have no clue what all you said.  I am not as computer adept as most on here but wanted to help give the forum some movement for you.  Happy New Year!  smile

    Thanks goldenpath
    Happy new year! smile

Snow Leopard is a new operating system for Macs.
Just like Windows 7, Vista, and XP are for PCs.

I'm pretty excited about it because it works better on my slow mac than the older version does on my fast mac. smile

Thanks for the info.  Do you prefer a Mac compared to an XP?  If so, why?  I am curious.  I have no frame of reference to make any kind of opinion.

I find PC and Windows are easier to work with than Mac!

Almost New Year now! 14 minutes.

I prefer macs. I've always used them, all the way back to the original 1984 model.

I bought a PC once and I found that it was pretty difficult to adjust to. I have a couple at work that use Win98, and I can handle them OK. Anything newer than 98 though, I just go ahead and call my PC buddy. I'm a little lazy about learning Windows smile
We are like the Mac & PC from the commercials. He's an accountant type, I'm a creative type. I say, we're nerds all around smile

I have Mac at work too. I am working well with both types of computers, but I like PC. Yeah. We just like the people in that commercial smile

      Happy New Year!

It's all in what you know, and what you're comfortable with.

It used to be that some software worked better on one platform than the other, but these days it's all good smile
Everything is easily compatible since Mac released OS X.

HNY all PCs and Macs smile
