Anyone ever experience adsense fraud clicks in hubpages?

    how often?

How to combat and prevent fraud clicks in hubpages?

It would be heartbreaking to see all hardworks are wasted, just because these fraud clicks and adsense get banned

It is very possible. Especially if you ask your friends to click on the ads around your hubs.

You cannot stop or prevent people from fraud clicking your ads!!
I experienced a lot of clicks one day which was abnormal, so i contacted Google straight away to notify them of this!! This will help and stop you being banned!!
Google is very clever and if you already use Google-Analytics, then you can get a rough idea of the information we have on visitors and how they arrive, the amount of time they stay on site etc etc etc.., let alone the information Google has!!

PS, I am alwasy worried about about being banned, but the brighter side of being banned is that there are many AdSense-Alternatives and you can still make money here at Hubpages with Amazon, Ebay, and Kontera ads!wink

      This stops me from worrying:)

How to know that you got abnormal clicks? From Google Analytics? I use their service but I don't understand really how to use it.

I am worried if I am banned. e-bay and Kontera hasn't approved my account yet.

          Ronald,
It was just by checking my account balance that i noticed an unusual high amount of clicks, and not using Google anaylitics!

I found this hub by casper explaining how-to-use-Google-analytics-at-hubpages you may find usefull.. Using-Google-analytics-at-Hubpages

Kontera usually can take a few days so wait a few days, so i would not worry:)

PS.Do you have your own blogs?

          Good luck!smile

Are you sure you got fraud clicks from your hubs?

I make a channel for hubpages

I usually get no clicks, sometimes one click

One day I got 7 clicks

three days later I got 5 clicks

Google didn't give me any earning for that clicks

so they are surely fraud clicks

    How can I prevent this?

That happened to my friends in other forum too. One of the reason probably is because the ads only showed public service ads.

    To Compu-smart

    I see.

Last month I got many clicks more than normally. But they were not coming from my articles. Do we get also percentage when our referral got ads clicks? I have created a channel for HubPages but there is an amount of money which came from unknown. Is it coming from my HP referral?

Thanks for the hub. Have just read it but I already know all about it. I still don't know how to find out which tracking referral that brings the traffic. Read more on http://hubpages.com/forum/post/68335

My Kontera has not been approved for more than a week already.

Yes, i have my own blog. Take a look in my profile.

Hey Ronald,I have read your reply a few times and am not sure exactly of your question, as im not sure what referral ads  your talking about, such as your blog and Hubpages and where your referral money is coming from!!

To be honest with you, I have not created specific channel data!, so this is not really my speciality to be able to explain fully, or at al!!

I have 141 referral signups, with 272  published hubs and i still have no idea of how much revenue this is bringing exactly!

I had a look at your blog and you are already familier with other referal companys, so i won't bother explaing, or tell you more about these...

RE kontera, i would check your spam folder, and maybe try emailing them or  re-applying!
Sorry i cant be of more help! I have just woken up and still half asleep!!

    Kind regards
    comp
