If God is one or three.

If you read carefully through out the bible you will find that God is a uni-plural word like Man.  Man is one; but there are many of us.  God is one but there are only TWO [2] in the Godhead now.  That being the Father and the Son.  I can show you that real clear in the scripts (scriptures).

Strange that it takes a Hindu to explain God to a Christian ...

mightyone, you sound like one of those "book Christians" who get so fascinated with the medium that you lose the message.

Duality is false. There is only One. And, as Mohit says, we are all part of the One.

How about looking at it like it is an egg.

An egg has 3 very different parts, the shell, the white and the yolk.

All in one, one in all.

    How's that for a anology?

(Which is NOT to say I believe in it - it is just a way to understand it).

I really believe there is just ONE Creator - what ever name you give to IT.

    Ergo - ONE EGG PLEASE. :}

Jesus declared the Father to us as God, He declared Himself as the Son of God making Him God.  But if you think you can read in the Bible God the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit, I'd like to see it.

Hope you can read fast, but you'll never find.

      Logos.

In the beginning there was the Word.

Doesn't take long to read that far into the Bible, mightyone ... smile

Is that right...get your bible out...
Let's read it...AFTER you've read it once, every where you see Word at use Jesus (in your head as you read).

            John 1
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2The same was in the beginning with God.

3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

(we're still talking about the Word now...)

4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

            (did the Jews receive Jesus?)

12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

(Isn't it true that who ever believes on Jesus will have power of eternal life?)

14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us - didn't Jesus say He was the Son of God and all power in heaven and earth was given unto Him when He came out the grave.  But before He was killed He was a man, flesh like us, and not spirit and He dwelt among us right there in Jerusalem and Nazareth.  But before that He was with GOD, and He was GOD (remember in the beginning.

No wonder in Genesis 1 v26 it says

26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:

Who is us, the Father and the Son, in our image, man looks like God.  Because Angels look totally different.  When was the last time you seen a man with 6 wings on his back with eyes all over his wings?

So men and women look like how we look, and then we know how God looks (but He is a spirit), and that was Jesus talking to the Father when He created Adam.

Does that make sense.  He didn't come out of Mary, He came through Mary...

Jesus was the best example to date of the "Word" incarnate. He showed the way for others to follow to become the same.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever: He does/did equal the Word. And as with the rest of us, we did in the beginning of our own soul as well...but have gotten "out of alignment" with the Word, gotten lost along the way. IT is a mystery to be comprehended.

This is ego, there have been many masters who have done an equally good job.The Indian sages believed him to be enlightened yet he has not taken on the karmic consequences of all humans,he is a Prophet like others. No better no less.

God is Energy. Energy is everything that is naturally made/created. We are all One in God. We are all sons and daughters of God, working on becoming more of that One, with Jesus as an example. The Holy Ghost is the Energy of God that moves in and through all those who desire IT, and seek to be an instrument of IT. big_smile

Don't know what energy means. Would you say that the holy ghost is or is like 'the muse' as inspiration?

Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Blessed Daughter.

There I just invented a quad entity.  Not hard to do, the hard part would be to then convince flocks and droves of people that they are four persons in one nature and that it's a mystery when they don't understand exactly why.

Man is made in God's image, not just physically, but in all aspects. That is why Jesus said we are all sons of God, just like him.

Jesus is no different from God, and no different from any of us. We are all God. We are all One.

Those who tell you otherwise are the servants of Satan, sowing doubt and confusion to lead you astray.
