that's a good list. I was referring to Albums produced between the years 2000 to 2009. Do you have any favorites from then?

hehehe sorry I didn't see the decade part. But no I stopped listening to music in 1998. When Britney Spears showed up I shut my ears to music from then on. I stick to the oldies.

that's a shame. Music has become more interesting and contemplative then ever i think. A lot of boundaries were crossed in the last decade. I would suggest checking out some stuff on my list. In my opinion, the best music from the last decade.

Don't let Britney Spears turn you off from music, or else you allow more Britney Spears clones to set up franchise in the future. Lend them your ears.

Good choice on The Thirteenth Step...Radiohead released some great stuff this decade. And if you don't know who PIG (Raymond Watts) is (Wrecked, Pigmata, Arbor Vitate, and others), you should definitely check him out.

You have good taste in music.
Being from the UK, there are a a few artists here that I don't know about. The Strokes and Brian Wilson are both good shouts though.

        Why thank you.

Glad to see there's someone else who appreciates Brian Wilson.  I was excited that "Smile" got its proper release this decade, even if it was almost 40 years overdue.  He's amazing.

Although I'm not a big hip hop fan or Jay-Z fan, I think you have to include Jay-Z's Blueprint..It was brilliant, especially being in the shadows of the 9/11 attacks.

Here are some of my choices.

    1. Daughtry: Daughtry
    2. Modonna: Confessions
    3. Madonna: Hard Candy
    4. Lady Gaga: The Fame
    5. Lady Gaga: The fame Monster
    6. KISS: Alive 4/Kiss Symphony
    7. Queer eye for the Straight guy.
    8. Cher: The farewell Tour
    9. Adam Lambert: For your Entertainment
    10. Poison: Crack a smile

Two albums on the list were not well received by the general public, and those are the following:

Queer Eye: This has some great songs on it. And it also has some big names on it including, Elton John, Sting, Duran Duran, and a funky Billy Squire mix of "everybody wants you."

Poison: Crack a Smile: This is a big mix cd of a lot of tracks that you would probably never hear on the radio. It also includes 4 tracks from Posions appearance on MTV unplugged.
