I would like to generate more traffic to my hubs. I see on the main HubPages that along the top there is a space that is called featured hubs. How do I get my hub there?

i honestly have no idea either.  i too would love to become one.  However, from what I've noticed from the people that are featured, tend to have both high ratings and a lot of followers.  therefore, i think a lot of it will depend on the quality of your work and how many people can you get to like your writing.  at least that's my theory at least.

I would love to know the answer to this as well, not that I think my hubs are good enough to warrant consideration yet...but it gives me something to shoot for!

I dont know for sure, I dont think I have ever been a featured hubber, but  I have had a featured hub and it seemed to make it up because of quick high traffic from hub sources and lots and lots of comments.

I think its just a score thing, most of those hub are in the 96-100 score range

    these are just guesses

I think it has to do with traffic and amount of promotional efforts put into your Hubvertising wink

I have wondered this also. it seems to always be the same people whenever I check. isn't there a more democratic way of featuring the many different hubbers here?  it would give more hubbers exposure if it included a wider variety of writers?

Well I might as well get my Hubber Score Dropped below 90 for asking the same question hmm

Even though my Hublove 'Who's Linked to Me?' BS is 100% and I have 7 red arrows for increased traffic....
WTF? My hubs can't seem to ever score over 89.... That in itself is highly questionable when the quality of that content is matched off against the inferior content/higher scores of certain 'others' here!

Surely you've worked out some of the problem Rebekah hmm

I liked it far more a year ago sad

Where has that 'Fun' Spirit gone... I wonder hmm

well, I don't check the page every day, but it seems it has to do with a recent hub and views. there are plenty of writers here who don't write every day because of other responsibilities. I like to see new hubbers featured that I don't know or have never read or just some variety. hmm

I've never seen you featured PD, and your hubs are amazing.
you're right, it used to be more exciting to see the different hubs featured, now it's guaranteed to be the same select few.

      PD, a video for you! smile http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpbSQFJ4 … re=related  [it's raining here]
