Michael Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana, United States and died in their fifties in Los Angeles, California, on June 25, 2009. It was the seventh son of a family of nine children. Before completing six years joined the brother in the Jackson 5 who scored a string of hits in the '70s. In 80 years Michael has dominated the music scene and earned the title of King of Pop with thunderous hits like Thriller, the biggest selling album of all time.

Hubbers For you, what is the best song from (choose from the following list tongue). For me it will always be Thriller!!

    Bad
    Beat It
    Billie Jean
    Black Or White
Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
    I Want You Back
    Got To Be There
    Man In The Mirror
The Way You Make Me Feel
    Thriller
    They Don't Care About Us
    We Are the World

Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough because I used to love to dance, and I think it's a great song to dance to.  We Are The World because of the message.  Then Got To Be There because it's beautiful.

Billie Jean. After of the wall who was expecting this? It was a watershed in pop music. Also a break through record for black artists. It crossed over the boundaries as far as MTV was concerned (or so they say).

From this list, I'm inclined to go with "Beat It", with "Thriller" as a close second.  From what I remember, "Beat It" was the first Michael Jackson song I was exposed to as a child.  There was something really intense about his vocal delivery that had me hooked, it was so unlike anything else on the radio.

Thanks for all the answers, I've heard that the new queen of POP is Madonna, she has great songs and many fans, but we can say that Michael Jackson was no doubt that marked the world.

By the way, happy new year to all Hubbers!

I am very sorry, I can not pick one because I was never a fan of his..when everyone was into Michael Jackson, I was into iron Maiden , Motorhead, metallica, megadeth, slayer, etc.

I do listen to alot of AC/DC and hard rock / rock..but I could never get into any of M.J's music...

but for those who like him, I respect you for it, we all have our own preferences and differences smile
