I don't want to appear ignorant, because I have not been a hubber for long, but can someone please define the meaning of the phrase "you have been stumbled upon". I was a little hesitant to ask unless it meant something bad.

I have news about my Drs. appointment. The Dr. said it looks very suspicious and I have to have it removed. I have to ring to make an appointment next week. So keep the prayers up fellow hubbers, we're not out of the woods just yet, and thanks everybody for all the love and support so far, it is very much appreciated.  love Beautybabe

StumbleUpon has over 8 million users. Generally they have a browser toolbar installed where they can view sites recommended by other members of StumbleUpon known as Stumblers.

The toolbar has a thumbs up and a thumbs down icon. Stumblers use this to one - add a site so other stumblers can see it and two - vote a thumbs up or down.

When a stumbler votes your site you will receive the message "you have been stumbled upon".

Your site is now in the rotation of sites that other stumblers can go through using their installed toolbar, known as Stumbles.

It is a good thing. It means you have the potential of many eyes viewing your site.

StumbleUpon is external to hubpages and more information can be found at StumbleUpon dot com.

Thank you so much for this information, it is almost like being a little outside hubs "spy" isn't it. Then, I should feel good and pleased about this? Not the apprehension and anxiety that it had been trampled on in  bad way.  BB

    Good luck with your health.

As for Stumbleupon: it is a cite that could bring you referrals.  From my experience, if your page appears on stumbleupon's main page, you will get a big, but short lived, rise in traffic.

Damn, woman!  You arouse me in one forum with that punishment and torture and dungeon talk and now you do the same thing here with the stilleto heels.
My second editor-in-chief in college was a blond who would walk on me with her heels.  SHe'd do it to me right there in the office.
One of my profs daughters would whip me with a bullwhip and wrap me in it and let me feel her toes . . . but only through her leather boots. . .she said it was kinda like 'only through the sweater' on the first date.
God, what we all didn't do in that basement office!!

Oh wow wsp, you have had such an eventful life. You really should consider putting it all into a little book you could entitle it "The Deep Dark Memoirs Of Wsp2469". LMAO
