    Hi there!

I've recently joined, and I'm not sure how does google/amazon, and my hub interact so that I can earn some money.

I read the impressions and the way it's brokwn down. I got that, but my hub doesnt have any ads? I think...and I'm just a bit confused how it works. Can someone please break down to me in a simpler way?

    Thanks!

Have you read the  "How To" instructions in the topic marked "read this before posting"? It's bright pink and it stays at the top so you can always see it.

Full step-by-step instructions, broken down by subject.

I did, but I still don't understand it completely.

Which sentence or paragraph do you not understand?

Have you tried to follow the instructions? If so, at which step did you have a problem?

You must be specific, because right now you are asking someone to rewrite the whole FAQ and Help manual for you. And nobody will.

I suggest that you find the instructions on putting your Adsense ID and Amazon affiliate ID into your Affiliate Settings. Follow the instructions. When you run into a problem, ask specifically about that actual problem.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I basically don't understand how does google/amazon set up ads in my hub, even thought i already set up accounts in both. Do I need to do something with both accounts to allow ads on my hub? Or does it work the moment I set up an account?

The HubPages “Royalties” provides you with an easy way to take advantage of the Internet’s top ad revenue and commission generating tools.

        * You can set up affiliate accounts with Google, eBay and Amazon.
        * Google automatically displays ads in your Hub that are relevant to your topic.

Google ads display relevant to your content no need to do anything with google
For Amazon you need to add a amazon capsule
which you will find in your right hand side when you are in edit mode big_smile

Thanks! That's all I needed to know, and then the money splitting happens accordingly by itself, right?

As long as you have pasted your Adsense ID and your Amazon ID into your Affiliate Settings page - you can get to it from your My Account tab.

Done that. How long does it take to earn money? Cause I made some page impressions...etc, but I haven't earned anything.

I'm new to this, so I'm just wondering?

    Thanks!

You get paid on how many clicks your ads get for Adsense. For Amazon and Ebay it's what you sell, obviously smile

      Hi there,

Hm....my google adsense doesn't appear in hubpages. Do I have to link it on other websites, is that how it works?

      Thanks!

Hi! I've just joined Hubpages and as I love writing, I'm enjoying it very much! I'd like to know what are those red numbers that appear beside my Hubs and how they change the numbers. Thanks.

    Oh thank you!

I guess it doesn't show to the hubber him/herself!
