   Just a response to the thread posted by someone suggesting the religion forum be deleted!
   
   Don't worry.  This one will probably die down really quickly.
   After all, it IS religion that takes the most heat.....

      What exactly would you like to talk about, if you deleted every thread under your proposed request?
      
      I am sure at least many different Atheists have started many threads. I am also pretty sure that at least some threads were started by a gay person. Not to mention, the thousands of threads that were started on the "sex" topic.
      
      One might come to some conclusion that you only want to talk about politic and religion? By which, both fall into the category of sex?, considering they both do and talk about it.
      
      So, hence. You have left nothing to talk about. Therefore, as you suggest? We would simply delete the entire forums.
      
      I'm sorry, that is unacceptable.
      
      But, interesting thought tho.

   I know you're only starting this thread to make a joke, but I did want to say that I don't think the person who said we should shut down the religion threads was taking a shot at religion...
   
   I think he or she was sick of the bickering between believers and non-believers... could be wrong though (I'd also say that the "gay threads" ARE religion threads most of the time). Anyway, just my two cents' worth
