Hi frienz, it would be great if we can add music to our hubs, as a reader is reading soft music plays in the background. As well as if we could decorate our hubs as we create them that would be cool as well.
Have a great day to all.
That will be really nice. I love the idea may be i will try and implement it on my hub
I like that idea too. My previous webpage host had music you could add from there list or one of your own. it gave the webpages personality

I am not promoting a hub but I created one that tells youhow to add music to your hubs

A player uploader for samples of tracks would be cool, but then copyright might become a big problem...
Only if there is a very clear warning together with the possibility to turn off the muzak before it starts. I loathe sites that force their taste in music on me regardless of whether I want to hear it or not. I tend to surf with speakers off for that very reason. If I do happen on a site with speakers on and am assaulted with sound, I leave never to return.
Me too. Remember too, that lots of people surf the net at work. If they land on a site with music, they'll click the Back button immediately (probably never to return). One lost reader, one lost sale.
The ability to have music would be nice, but only if the reader can make the choice to turn it on.
Not sure how feel about that but the two above comments make very valid points against. I'll have to say no.
currently we have the option to put a related video on that is turned on or off by the viewer. It could be the same with an mp3 but the copyright issue is the big one.
Go to youtube and add a video thats just music. Videos embedded from youtube are youtubes responsibility to deal with. If the user gets banned so be it, there is always someone else adding it. That way, the hubber doesn't get in trouble, no copyright infringement, and nothing to feel bad about!

Shame on you for surfing at work, Marisa. If your boss finds out, whats he gonna say about that. JK LOL
(hangs head in shame) My only excuse is I've got nothing to do! But research shows I'm only one of millions who do surf at work, which is why auto-play music is such a bad idea.
if the reader has abilty to turn on and not automatic ,then yes!
I despise music that comes on automatically on a site. It is disruptive and slows down my machine.
If you want music, to create mood, add a half page video near the top of your hub and suggest that people listen while they read. Ralwus has done this several times, and as far as I can see, it worked well.
Unfortunately.. Has-... you r promoting ur hub. Let this be the last time you add your hub in here, please. If you like coming in here.
Yahoo ranks down pages that play music automatically. My ex works there on their search engine, and told me music on web pages was one of the biggest complaints made by web users.

About once a week I peruse my hubs to check on traffic, comments, and just generally see how things are going. One of my hubs, "What Are The Benefits of Eating Bananas," had the copyright symbol next to it. I know from past experience that this means hubpages has found my content...

There are many hubs with magical blue letters that take a person somewhere else when clicked. How do they do that? Is there a tutorial somewhere?Second, before Hubpages what does the TOS state for all hubs with a score below 75 and how long will it stay 75? How long specifically...

Have you ever noticed that you spend more time allocating pictures and images for your hubs than you do actually writing it?

I decided to do some google searching of my own hub topics to see where my hubs were ranking in google SEO and found out that about five of my hubs were posted to some website's facebook page with no direct link back to my hubs. The website is called ggberry.com and is some sort of travel blog...

I'm planning a hub about one particular actor in one particular scene of a movie. Without a visual representation of the actor in the scene the article would be meaningless, but no free or non-copyrighted photos appear to exist. To me this seems a classic case for Fair Use, as reflected in this...
