    Hello

    I've got a problem, I'm suffering from writer's block (or Hubber's block).

If you have ever suffered the same problem, how did you overcome it?

What do you do to get the creative juices flowing again?

I have ideas for hubs, however when I sit down to write them my mind goes completely blank.

The best way to clear you writing block is to not try and force it to come forth. You need to take your mind off it and do something else, so you can let inspiration come naturally. smile

        Thanks Cagsil

I think that’s exactly what my problem is, trying to force the hubs through.

Time heals all wounds, unless you pick at them.

I normally just give myself some time when I forget a good idea, just relax a little bit dude. Do something you enjoy doing for a while and see if it comes back.

Works for me, hope it works for you too.

      Thanks for the response Axiom.

I'm probably making myself more frustrated by trying to force it. Perhaps a bit of break, and doing some exercise (cheers Rochelle) to clear my mind.

I've been keeping note, my problem has been turning the ideas into content.

I think I need to stop stressing and my flow will come back.

Copy someone else's stuff. That's the norm around here. Then get huffy when someone does it you. That is also the norm.

You've been given some excellent advice (except the copy thing, unless you are totally desperate, just kidding wink ) Do them all!
...but at least set up your ideas as hubs so you don't loose them.

I always have at least 10 on the go so I don't have to start from scratch every time. I find unless the idea is a really burning issue that by the time I have set up the hub and put in all the tags, etc., I have to work to get back into the head-space I was in before all the technical stuff intervened. big_smile

Take a walk, let it be for a bit, and trust your subconscious to do the work.

    Cheers! big_smilebig_smilebig_smile

      Cheers RedElf

I have received some great advice, I hadn’t thought of creating the hubs as the ideas come.

      I’ll give that a try.

I had been focussing on doing one thing at a time, however, now that you mention it perhaps have a few different hubs to work on may also work.

      Again Cheers

    Read Read Read

I go and read what others wrote (other hubs).  Sometimes, I'll got tot the Hot Hubs List or the Best Hubs List and with each hub, I'll ask myself this question:

"Why are people interested in this?"

If you find an answer, you just might've caught a bit of lightning (or inspiration) in a bottle.

No, I'm not telling you to copy someone else's work, but to get a bit of inspiration cool

    I hope this helps!
