Can we have a visible warning on the my account page

I have a hub which has suddenly been flagged as duplicate content.  It isn't but a spammer has stolen the article and automated flagging system at hubpages is confused.  I have emailed the humans and I am sure they will sort out the machines.

Other authors may want to keep an eye out on this happening for your higher ranked hubs

The point is though that I noticed that the hub in question had suddenly dropped in score - then I went to edit mode and saw the duplicate content warning.  Could we make warning more obvious by a flag or a colour change on the main my hubs page ? This is particularly for published hubs
    Thanks

it will be better to show it by a different color on "My Account page" or by assigning something unique sign/symbol as being done for broken link. Spammer has become more active now on hubpages than ever before. I have to fight it out on the Forum as well as with spammers. Ultimately, spammers removed the copied content.

This is possible, but not as easy as you'd think.   Currently the warnings that appear at the top of your hub are calculated in real time based on the up to minute currently loaded version of the hub.  To calculate and display them for a whole list of hubs in real time would be rather slow, and to keep them up to date for all hubs all the time would also be fairly expensive.

We'll see what we can do though.

Maybe check and update a flag register for each Hub once every 24 hours, and display that?

Most people will know if they have already fixed a problem in the past 24 hours, so it won't bother them if the warning takes a while to go away.

Disagree. We'll get a flood of forum posts "It still shows my hub as dupe but I corrected it 38 milliseconds ago!" big_smile

Good idea still, and worth implementing, subject to available resources. smile

On our "my account" page, there is a "Needs Revision" that is supposed to make our link background pink with blue letters if something is wrong with it. I have never seen this work, but it is there. I love the idea of having some way of knowing something is wrong without having to visit the hub. Just my penny's worth....I can't afford 2 cents....lol big_smile
