Where has all the Global Warming Gone?

According to a number of sources the climate is no longer warming, in fact, some claim the planet has been "cooling since 1998". They immediately admit that "It is true that if we fit a linear trend line to the annual global land-ocean surface air temperature for the period 1998 to 2008 there is no real trend". Correct - the satellite-based, balloon-based, and thermometer-based global temperature records show no warming whatsoever over the past decade.

Claims that the Earth's temperature is rising at an unprecedented rate are clearly false - nothing could be further from reality.

Isn't it time to stop panicking and put an end to the global warming hoax, shutdown the insane system of carbon credit trading, and bury the ruinous proposed cap and trade taxation?

Deary me. I hope you are getting paid for this nonsense.

You sure are skeered a global warmin. wink

Sadly you appear to know absolutely nothing and seem quite happy to promote the carbon fuel supplier's interests. I mean - could you link to a more biased source?

We are polluting ourselves to death, and anyone who argues this vehemently against it must have some ulterior motive.

      What is that motive exactly?

very exciting! Is it true that we don't have to panic for the global warming issue?

Is that sung to the tune of "Where have all the flowers gone"?
    lol!

In the 70s, they tried to convince of global cooling. What's next?

That website you quote has Patrick J. Michaels as Editor in Chief

    A Brief Bio from wikipedia:

Patrick J. Michaels is a fellow of the libertarian think tank Cato Institute and edits the World Climate Report, published and funded by the not-for-profit organization Greening Earth Society created by the Western Fuels Association.[11]

Let me say again 'funded by the Western Fuels Association'.

    Who are these people?

They are coal suppliers. Coal suppliers have more to lose than anybody else from sustainable energy.

If you want independent and trustworthy science look elsewhere.

It would appear from the latest expert report "Yes we simply asked climbers if they had seen any ice melting", that Global warming has taken a back seat for the moment.....The Himalayas seem to be safe for another while...their ice caps remain in place....even though one climber said "I think it was melting snow but then the climber ahead of men seemed to be closing his zipper when I looked up"........

The moon is moving away from the Earths gravitational pull a few centimeters per year.  Eventually it will break through and then what will happen to the tides in our Oceans?

I wonder how Al Gore will be able to cash in on a Stop the Moon from leaving campaign.

Every side has an agenda and the agenda is always money. One side is funded by the Energy Industry, the other side by greedy mofo's trying to cash in on carbon credits.

Neither side cares about anything but money.

Who is really doing anything about pollution?

And air pollution is pale in comparison to water pollution. The World's supply of quality drinkable water is dwindeling fast.

But as long as the Multinational corporations can profit who cares.  Keep the masses arguing and distract from the real pollution issues.  This way Corporations can keep reeling in the profits.

The Wealthy have a solution when the breaking point is reached.  And it's population control.  When people no longer have clean air or water or food they die.  The Wealthy will stake claim to the remaining resources.  When the population reaches the point they want it to be .... they will have their Nirvana.

If you haven't looked into the privatization of water rights around the world you are in for a real eye opening experience.
