Time is Love (An abstract poem)

   Time is stillness, Time is motion
   
   Time is our utmost sacred notion
   
   Through Time's clouds we see what is
   
   What was, what will be, and Time's special kiss
   
   We are all part of Time and are waiting to know
   
   What the Ages of past are partial to show
   
   For every energy and every hour
   
   Grows and unfolds itself like a flower
   
   And men and women discover each other
   
   Their love for their friends
   
   And one for another
   
   Children are born in love and in scorn
   
   They love us in wonder though some are forlorn
   
   We love them and nurture that which they are
   
   Until they grow up to be like a star
   
   They outshine all the others and come into their own
   
   And we love them and hug them and give them a home
   
   Soon they replace us like a new field of grass
   
   Fertilized by our love and all that which lasts
   
   They give us our hope as we grow to old age
   
   That true good can be found in earning Time's wage
   
   When they grow older they start it again
   
   And Time gives them wisdom and comforts their kin
   
   Time is Love to all those who might listen
   
   To Time's ebbing tide and evanescing glisten
   
   It goes and it comes and renews what we are
   
   It is there in our peace and there in our war
   
   
   Time is Love

   Sometimes (sic!) I get an impression that time is The God. Not the Christian one, of course
   
   Considering notion that The God is Love - here you go, time is love!

      I think God is the most loaded word in history.
      
      I would prefer to refer to what you are talking about as a form of wisdom that just IS, without any intelligent function that imparts itself into us because we are a part of it and vice versa.
      
      Time that is.
      
      I wouldn't worship it, I wouldn't call it spiritual and I sure wouldn't call it God.
      
      I would say that I feel that Time is a non intelligent Love expression emanating from that part of the universe which is not comprised of me and you and "us" (humans). 
      
      We reciprocate this love through reflecting on Time itself.
      
      This is of course how I "feel" about these things, I certainly would not "preach" them.
      
      Also, the definition of Love I am obviously operating under during this poem is highly unconventional, (hence the intellectual incoherence).  I would say it is my own definition, and only of one type of Love.
      
      As these are feelings I would not assign them objective intellectual validity (or even so much as claim to call these statements intellectually coherent), I would say it is subjective and would not exist for all people.  In fact it only exists for me emotionally, and it's metaphorical purpose is to liberate me emotionally. 
      
      These feelings do exist in me and this is how I make sense of them, through poetry.
