How many of you have been touched by his noodly appendage?

In my opinion this is a pretty sweet religion. I heard about it from a friend of mine who is actually a follower. I have a hub written about it if anyone wants a basic overview.

But it's a really cool religion. There aren't too many rules and there is a lot of "be nice to other people" sort of stuff. It also view pirates as saints and they intend to get a pirate ship as a floating church. How cool is that?

So yeah, I suppose I could be considered a follower because you don't actually have to believe in the flying spaghetti monster to be a follower.

So what about you? Do you believe?

What did you allow his noodly appendage to do to you?

His noodly appendage hasn't done anything to me. It's a quote from the religion posters and such.

Also, pasta is good for you and you should eat it Rochelle Frank.

I saw that there was topic space for this and no topics so I decided to make one so I would feel special for starting a topic. It's been a long time since I've been active in a forum board.

I have my own religion-type thing... well it's more of a philosophy thing like that Buddha guy... It's called being a Self Philosopher (personal philosophy). I have a hub on it for anyone interested.

I had whole wheat spaghetti with vegetable sauce on it tonight. Is that a good or bad thing, in the religious sense. It seemed good to me.

That is photo shopped! The FSM would NEVER do such a thing. Blaspheme!
Come to think of it, it may not be photo shopped, it may be a ritual that is unknown to me as a new pastaferian. I will prey for guidance now.

"Discovery News reports the finding of a fossil formed around a many-armed creature. Dating shows that this creature was in the area hundreds of millions of years before dinosaurs existed.

The implications for Pastafarians are obvious: this is strong evidence that the FSM has been hanging around since time began, and created us all, including the dinosaurs. -- Official Site of The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster"

True story. A young kid who was very mechanically minded came to work in my motorcycle shop on Saturdays and after school.
    His family were devout Catholics.
He was, with some help learning to "hot up" his motorcycle engine and we had been developing the cylinder head to lift the compression up from 8.8 to 11 to one, to result in more horsepower.
The Sunday after he goes off to church at mothers demand after being absent for 3 weeks.
He went into the confessional, and without thinking said "Forgive me father for I have sinned. It has been 3 weeks since my last compression!" smile
