I'm on my first go-round on the 30 hubs/30 days challenge and I'm only one hub behind after 7 days. Not too bad for me, I figure I'll get my creative juices flowing and write a couple thousands words in a day for a couple of days, if some topic really grabs my interest.

I am thinking of taking the challenge but knowing myself I would end up trying a few times just like you. Good luck! Hope to hear you've been successful!

You just need to make a plan and stick to it. That is what is did during the 100 Hubs in 30 days challenge. I planed in advance and made an excel sheel on what topics i am going to write and how many hubs per day and followed it. Sometimes you may get a backlog butyou can cover it up the next day or over the week. On day 30 i had to write 9 hubs to complete my 100 for the Hub Challenge and i did that too.

Well good luck to both of you.  I've completed 2 challenges the first one was by luck and the second was because I was trying to keep up with 2 fellow hubbers, KCC and Whitney05. cool

Every time I received a notification that either of them had just published a new hub, it inspired me to write quicker...lol

I just think its much easier to do when you have daily encouragement from others in the challenge. smile

I am nearing the end of my first challenge. Good luck to you, Marisa and Shazwellyn. Set a schedule and stick to it. A steady pace wins the race.

Remember, you did not lose if you published any hubs at all. Making 15 hubs rather than the goal of 30 is still 15 more hubs than you had before.

Me, too.  It's hard, it really is.  Especially when you're a perfectionist like myself.  I'm trying to move away from that...  Good Luck, everyone!!!

Awesome news! Glad to hear both Shazwellyn and Marisa are up for the challenge!  Good luck ladies!

I'm gearing up to start another myself.  It's probably be March 1st.   I've been concentrating my efforts on some work-related self-paced courses.  I'm on my next to the last one and then I'll be entitled to a all expenses paid trip for two to Las Vegas in September.  That means a lot to me since I've never been anywhere west of Texas.  Heck, I haven't even been to west Texas.  LOL
