One standard and same text books for the world students.

   Why the students run helter-skelter to get admission in particular school?
   
   There can be one standard for the whole world,
   everything can be standardised
   and Money can be saved
   for more and more constructive purposes.
   
   This may be  more convenient for all the parents and children.
   They will not miss anything.
   
   There will be less drain on the national resources.
   The same text book,every where in the whole world.
   
   This will a boon to students and parents  and teachers  will find it easy to teach.
   
   There will less problems on clashes.murders and accommodation etc.
   
   wish the world have One Standardised education.
   
   God grant us this boon

      I agreed but don’t you think that the variety of standards make different kind of student having different knowledge? You are right on your place but a positive face of coin is that
      You can gain various things from various kind of knowledge. This will create difference and we get different kind of thinkers and future makers.

      Disagree....General basic skills should be world wide....math, reading, writing.....but, the uniqueness of each culture and what they value as important should not be stripped by a universal curriculum.
      
      Curriculum should be developed with the most immediate needs of a specific society or school system in mind
      
      Anyway, we are so divided in this world,  it would take generations before we could agree on what should be taught......
      
      The US would want their way, Britain would want their way, Africa would be divided between the northern countries and the south..... and somebody would get mad and here we go with another world war......

   Easy to teach?
   
   That's not good. If it's easy to learn, it's not worth knowing.
   
   Who is to decide what this standard would be? A single world-wide curriculum would need to include every perspective of history and culture in order to be completely accurate. Anything less would be discrimination.
   
   If every school taught an identical curriculum, there would be no opportunity for students to specialize. There would be no innovation.
