Do people all over the World dip their biscuits/cookies in their cup of tea, or is that just us here in England?

Not just in England . . . remember, Proust wrote "Remembrance of Things Past" because of the taste of dipping a madeleine in tea. (I tried it--it has a VERY distinctive taste).

No.... Kiwis wet their bickies too... that's why they always expect a teaspoon.... so they can salvage the crumbs in the bottom of the cup yikes

mmmm digestives in coffee - timing is all though! Soggy biscuit at the bottom of the mug or cup isn't good!

I am not a dipper....no disrespect to the dippy, I love cookies/biscuits. It's just a texture thing with me. I like the crunchy in my mouth then the warm coffee enters and gets it all mushy...enhances the flavors to me. But I'm weird..or so I've been told.

We, Filipinos dip our bread in our coffee. The joke runs- we are the cleanest specie on earth. But it doesn't end there, we drink the coffee afterwards. That makes us the dirtiest. Pinoy joke!
