Wow - just a day later and I'm first page (#5) for 'sports for kids who don't like sports' !!!! Also front page for 'kids who don't like sports'. So far hasn't resulted in traffic, but I'm hopeful!
    Thanks Ryan!

Well here goes I have just posted a short challanging hub.

Well to start off with one has establish a condition of the mind and have that inate desire to go at 100 plus percent.

So you need to analyse what habits are inhibiting the end result of becoming a healthier person, remeber this is the initial planning stage and only requires that the grey matter starts to kick into gear.

So what do we look at changing, what are we personally doing to our own bodies

on google "average healthy day" comes up number 1.

BTW how do you paste the google page into these comments? I have tried following the instructions for images on help but I must be stupid or something!

      Hey sixtyorso,

Try out this HubNugget for how to take a screenshot:

      http://hubpages.com/hub/Make_A_Screen_S … _PC_Laptop

Then, upload the photo somewhere(like to an unpublished Hub), then right-click on it and copy the image's location. It should look like 'http://imagefilename.jpg' or something similar.

Then use the IMG tag to post it in the Forums, you find out how to do that here:

      http://hubpages.com/forum/help/#bbcode

Give it a shot and let us know how it goes. smile

I love the concept.  Not sure what I can provide in the way of "best practices" around health and fitness but I am certainly going to try.  Can't wait to see what is submitted though.

Hate to burst y'all's bubble..... but Page one of Google really doesn't mean that much when you type in your exact title.

It's only if you happen to hit a phrase that lots of people are ACTUALLY SEARCHING FOR in Google.  My hub got page one in google too, but that doesn't mean it's just swamped with visits.

I went ahead and did a second on a topic that's been percolating recently: the health benefits of living in a foodie culture, and what Americans can learn from cultures with strong food traditions.

Hi everyone!  I'm on Day Two of my Hub-life, and having a great time.  For my third hub, I thought I'd post to this HubMob.  Here's the URL:

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Live-healthy-wh … daily-life

We all have our own philosophies about what food to eat, what exercises to do, etc., in order to be healthy and fit.  But they all have one thing in common- they're inconvenient!  How do we fit all this into our lives and still HAVE a life?  How do we maintain motivation when there are so many other, more fun things to do?  Click on the link to read my thoughts, based on experience.

It also occurred to me that having a capstone hub on each HubMob topic could be pretty cool. It would include a description of the topic, a summary that tries to bring together all the submitted hubs, and maybe even a poll. What do you think?

  18. Shadesbreath profile image78
    Shadesbreathposted 15 years ago

Cool idea Shibashake, but who's gonna write a monster like that?  Tying all these disparate topics together would about as brutal lacing up a centipede's shoes.

lol - you always crack me up. Actually I think someone like you would be very suited for the job smile Awesome wit, and you always bring out fun and interesting new ways to look at things.

Ryan Hubmob Hubnuggets, I'm sure, can also do a mighty fine job. Both of you together could have it sewn up in like 30 mins! big_smile

    Huff ... puff ...

This just in (hopefully made it under the wire):

Feed Your Head:  Foods for Moods

This time I even remembered to do the Request thing.  And I added ProCW's wondrous banner to it.

    And, oh, yeah -- it's Hub #20!

I'd be happy to add HubMobber links on request.
