I have confirmed my domain in E bay long back. However, my affiliate settings show that it is not verified. My E bay account shows that the domain Hubpages is confirmed.

I have re-validated this today and put E bay ID at relevant place in Hubpages but to my utter surprise Hubpages not validating and confirming my e bay account affiliate settings.
Please help me fixing the problem.

    Thanks,
    Jyoti Kothari

HubPages doesn't have access to your eBay account to know whether your domain is confirmed or not, so the "confirm domain" button on the Affiliate Settings page never goes away.

So long as it's showing confirmed on eBay, that's all you need.

And Ashwinspga, eBay doesn't pay for clicks.

Well Miss Wright if you click on the link i provided Jyoti Kothari it does say something like this
        *
Starting September 1st 2009 for all new publishers and October 1st 2009 for all existing publishers, eBay Partner Network will start paying for clicks sent to eBay sites. The price paid will depend on the traffic’s quality — the more incremental revenue the traffic generates for eBay, the higher the amount paid per click.

Its talking about adsense kind of clicks right?

@ashwin, Yes, ebay is now PPC like adsense.

@Jyothi, it happened to me as well and after 1 week i got message for denied application.

            Skyfire,
Ebay says my domain Hubpages is confirmed. It is showing the message since long time.
However, Hubpages show that I have to confirm my domain. I have not got any message of denial from either site.

            Thanks,
            Jyoti Kothari

Jyoti, you missed my post.  The HubPages "confirm my domain" button NEVER disappears.  HubPages doesn't have access to your eBay account therefore it can't tell whether you've confirmed or not.  It's immaterial.

This is true. I still have that confirm button but my ebay account is properly linked and operational.

I stand corrected, however the amount paid per click does depend on the traffic's "quality - i.e., whether a sale happened as a direct result of the publisher’s actions."  So if the visitor doesn't join eBay or buy anything, your payment for the click is likely to be miniscule.

Not sure what their metrics are for quality, but I went from making no sales on Ebay to making around 15 cents a click when they changed over.

eBay does indeed pay for clicks.

Although how much they decide to pay you per click seems to be very random, with them paying you per day whatever they deem appropriate, seemingly regardless of the statistics.

its showing likewise on my affliate settings page too, if i am not wrong i think you have to sign up again for their affliates partner program. I got an email about this sometime back but i didnt bother. Let me see if i can find you a link.

Didnt realize Ebay paid for clicks to their sites with their new partner program. Thought it was just sales commission like back then. damn.

    Hi Ashwin and marisha,
Both of you are right. Ebay program is something in between adsense PPC and pay per view.
    Thanks,
    jyoti Kothari
