      No one will ever know..
      It's an interesting question, but I don't really think it's that relevant to be honest haha. Maybe if it were a better animal or human, something with a little more importance, or status, I guess you could say.

      But to answer your question...I'm going to go with the chicken. Adam and Eve weren't babies when they arrived on Earth. Maybe it was the same way for the chicken? Who knows.

      As you have said. the answer is easy. unfortunately most people cant see what is in front of them. the answer is THE EGG came first. since all life on the planet has evolved from something else, it stands to reason that the chicken is the product of something else. Therefore the egg had to come first. Have a Nice day

    Something that wasn't quite a modern chicken had an egg containing whatever mutation or adaptation that made the modern chicken preferable. So, an egg containing a chick from a not-quite-chicken was the first chicken.
