   THERE IS A DEVICE CALLED AN "ELECTRIC" CIGARETTE. IT' SEEM S THAT IT EMMULATES THE FEELING OF HAVING THE TRUE  SENSATION OF SMOKING A REAL CIGARETTE. IT ALLOWS YOU TO SMOKE ANYWHERE, ANYTIME YOUR HEART DESIRES. IT'S BATTERY CHARGED OR YOU CAN USE A USB .....IMAGINE HOW COST EFFECTIVE THIS LITTLE BABY WILL BE!!!!    Nicotine does not cause cancer.
   
   Cigarettes cause cancer, but nicotine is not the reason.
   
   e-cigs don't burn. no smoke, no tar.
   They contain nicotine but no other chemicals.

   Tar and other additives that irritate your lungs over time. Nicotine can actually have positive effects in some mental health cases. It also decalcifies your pineal gland - or the 3rd eye, which is involved in dreaming.
   
   E-cigs are so much better for you, and blu electronic cigarettes actually look and taste like real cigs. The tip even lights up. Neat

   E-cigs come in all kinds of shapes and forms.  If you're a smoker it's definitely in your best interest to do the research and look into them.  My husband has been using them since May 2009. 
   
   For those of you that are worried that Nicotine is harmful, why do you think they have the nicotine patch or nicotine gum to help smokers stop smoking?  It's the harmful toxins and tar that are killing people in cigarettes, not the Nicotine.  E-cigs have NONE of the harmful crap.  They are not burning anything.  There is NO tobacco.  They are simply a nicotine delivery system similar to the patch or gum, but are easier to use and make that switch because they appeal to the oral sensations smokers get by regular smoking. 
   
   I have a hub about it and plan to write more on the subject since my husband recently tried a 5 volt version that he finds more appealing to his needs/wants.  I'm hoping to get my mom to make the switch.

   My husband purchased one about 2 weeks ago and is completely off cigarettes.  He's not coughing as much and he smells MUCH better.  I do hope he weans himself off nicotine altogether but for now I am happy that he is at least not putting tar on his lungs and breathing in carcinogens.

    Definitely good things, jleeman!  Depending on what brand your hubby is using to vape on (since it's not really smoke, the commonly used term is "vape" or "vaping")  you can step down in nicotine levels.  With the blu, there are 4 levels - full flavored, light, ultra light and no nicotine.  For those who like the numbers, those levels in order are: 16mg nicotine, 12mg, 8mg, none.

       Update: Got one!  So far, so good.  It is def NOT as "satisfying" as a cigarette, but hopefully it will replace cigs for me, and eventually lead to my smoking cessation completely.
