The last movie I saw was Avatar...I love a good movie and this was pretty good. I do not have a specific type but can say that I prefer either a good comedy or a horror movie. My problem..what is wrong with our movie industry that it seems to cater to the teen porn-like mentality? I prefer a good comedy that doesn't contain exploits of women (unless you make it equal and exploit a Paul Walker type in the movie..) My bf seems to think only movies like Sin City, American Pies or other related films are funny...well..I am asking..anyone have a good suggestion from a decent female point of view?

I completely agree with you. The last movie I seen was Dear John and it was a great romantic movie. I think it was more towards adults. As far as exploiting woman and not men ... i feel if you are going to show the ta-tas of a woman I better get at least a butt shot from a man. But in all honesty I could go for a good comedy without nudity at all ... my favorites are Along came polly, pineapple express, and step brothers.

I saw "When in Rome" recently.  It was pretty good.  LIght romantic comedy, love not sex, humor not gutter.  You might like it.

I enjoyed 'As Good as it Gets' big_smile with all this use of se* in teen movies, it does make one wonder what message teens are getting and if parents have to work that much harder to ensure their kids understand equality and respect for women. hmm
