I'm anxious to sign up for adsense but only have one hub, and possibly a second by the end of today.  Will they still accept me if I only have a few?

I looked around and couldnt see where you are from.  Honestly that would be my first question to determine an answer for you

        Hi,
Does it make difference in adsense sign up?

        Thanks,

It absolutely does make a difference.  If you live in certain countries you cant get an account until you have an established web prescence for 6 months because of high rates of click fraud in these countries.

            Hi Dale,
Thanks for information. Does Google spell it or its a general opinion?

            Thanks,

If you read Google's TOS, you'll see they are quite clear in spelling out this policy and stating to which countries/regions this policy applies.

I had written three hubs when I first signed up for Google Adsense. It should not be a problem!

I can't comment on hubs, but I was accepted within 24 hours on the strength of two pdf articles submitted to docstoc. From my searches on the web, I found this was one of the easiest routes to acceptance.

There is a fair chance of accepting if you have written good quality hubs with original content.

Normally, adsense not only reject but ban if you have copied content. I hope that you have original content in hubpages.

    Thanks,

Yes, I only have one hub so far but attempted to make it as original as possible, given the subject material.

my author hubscore (not sure if thats the correct terminology) is terribly low and I have a feeling it has to do with my hub. So as my friend and I write more we will definitely take your advice into account!

      Thanks!

I have researched on this hub and it seems to have original content. It has a good hubscore of 63 too.

I do not know why your hubberscore is terribly poor. It is only six. it may be for some other reason or it will go high with time.

You may apply for adsense or wait for one or two days, write one or two more hubs, till your hubber score get to at least above 60.

Participating in forum and reading, commenting and rating others' hubs will improve your hubscore. joining fan clubs will also increase your hubber score.

        Just an opinion.

        Thanks,
        Jyoti Kothari

She joined just a couple of days back, thus the low hubber score.

I wouldn't gamble on acceptance on the strength of just one hub.

I'd want to have 10 or 12 top quality hubs before I submitted my application.

I've got my family on the hubpages bandwagon now...

I told my dad to first create 20 to 30 hubs and be active for at least 3 months before applying for Adsense, based on the information I've found in the forums here. I was afraid for him to apply and then get rejected and have an awful time getting getting the acceptance after rejection.

I found out today my brother created a Hubpages account 3 weeks ago. He has no other web presense, published 1 very well written hub, then applied for Adsense after his Hubpages account was open for just two weeks. He was accepted by Adsense right away. Go figure.

Instead of waiting any longer, my dad with 22 hubs will be applying tonight. I think that if your in the US and you have 10 or so well written unique hubs that are mostly geared towards someone making a buying decision, go for it.

I didnt have a problem with adsense account when I first started here.  Im from the UK and had published a few hubs before.

As Relache says, check the terms of service to see if it is viable before applying.

Dont make the same mistakes as me when I first started!  I didnt do my research and got my fingers burned!  You did well to ask first in this forum.  Welcome to hubpages Age of Aquarius x
