What else is new? The GOP is still "the party of 'No'"

And those "special deals" that Obama railed against and said he wanted to eliminate? With the exception of two of the most notorious — extra Medicaid money for Nebraska and a carve-out for Florida seniors faced with losing certain extra Medicare benefits — they are all still there.

Removing the special deals ran into opposition from powerful lawmakers including Sens. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., and Max Baucus, D-Mont.

And did you hear about new"deals" made?  It was on the evening news today. Of course those Democrats denied they had anything to do with their changing their votes.  Saying it is just a coincidence.   Yeah right. A lie is a lie.

Let's face it, we will NEVER be able to get rid of special interests COMPLETELY

So we let 54,000 people die for lack of health care - a half milllion every decade for lack of health care. People who would NOT have died otherwise. Because YOU think somebody landed a hospital in their state that they needed and you didn't get one.  This is playing the politics of resentment - whether it's justified or not in every case I don't know. Politics has never - NEVER been pure. The Nebrask and Florida deals were pulled out, I know.

In deciding this you look at the overall benefit compared to the overall cost.

That is a completely transparent cop-out, and these corrupt bastards are counting on enough people putting up with it to get away with this disgrace. It's not even about health care anymore; it's about getting obama's way by hook or by crook  -  heavy on the 'crook.'

"So we let 54,000 people die for lack of health care"

Everybody dies.  Insurance or no Insurance everybody dies.

People do NOT die for lack of Health Care.  It's a ridiculous argument.  People die early because they do not take care of themselves and do not take upon themselves the PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY to take care of themselves.

You can NOT be denied access to an emergency room in this country.

"According to the groundbreaking 2003 medical report Death by Medicine, by Drs. Gary Null, Carolyn Dean, Martin Feldman, Debora Rasio and Dorothy Smith, 783,936 people in the United States die every year from conventional medicine mistakes."

So according to this study 783,936 people died FROM Health Care and 54,000 died because of "lack of health care".

Seems like the people in the "lack of health care" group are better off.  Better odds.

Doctors are BODY MECHANICS all they can do is cut you and drug  you.  The body has to fix itself.

Forcing people to buy insurance isn't going to improve anyone's health.

You either take personal responsibility for your health or you don't.

Forcing people to buy auto insurance has not stopped auto accidents.

Now I am for health care reforms that actually work for the people and preserve the rights set forth in the Constitution.

Health Insurance is not an Evil Industry. Selective abusers are being targeted and singled out as the representatives of an entire industry.

There are some very good insurers doing a great job of offering care at reasonable costs.

What we know for sure is the Government has failed miserably in their attempt to manage health care.

What other industry is being attacked and deamonized like health insurance?
