Deshavue!! It's 1860 all over again! Is this the end of America, Land of the Free? The debate became very bitter. Southern politicians outwardly charged that their voices were not being heard in congress. Some Southern states wanted to secede, or break away from the United States of America and govern themselves. Emotions reached a fever pitch when Abraham Lincoln was elected President of the United States in 1860. He was a member of the Republican Party and vowed to keep the country united and the new western territories free from slavery. Many Southerners, who were Democrats, were afraid that Lincoln was not sympathetic to their way of life and would not treat them fairly. The growing strength of the Republican Party, viewed by many as the party friendly to abolitionists and northern businessmen, and the election of the party's candidate was the last straw. Southern governors and political leaders called for state referendums to consider articles of secession. South Carolina was the first state to officially secede from the United States soon after the election and they were followed by six other Southern states. These states joined together and formed a new nation which they named the Confederate States of America. They elected Jefferson Davis, a Democratic senator and champion of states rights from Mississippi, as the first president.

Now the Parties are reversed and slavery is still the issue but it is not difined by race but by social class! My heart fell as we were brushed aside and this legislation was pushed through. It's not the issue of helping people, It's all the hidden things in it that will desimate our liberties more and more. now with some 30 + states filing law suits against the Federal Government to protect themselves from losing all their sovernty what will be the straw to break the camel's back?

Civil, no. The civilians are not happy with this new idea of government. The civilians might turn on the government and impose anarchy.

Capitalism is falling away fast and the world is falling with it.
The apex of it and 7 billion global citizens are just standing in complete disarray.

The one who touts himself as the great uniter may very well go down in history as the great divider.
Obama knows what he's doing.  He apparently doesn't care what the heck happens as long as he has his 15 minutes of fame.
That's been evident after he went to other nations and spoke against the USA's national sovreignty.
