What would you prefer if you meet someone first time. You have heard about love at first sight. So now keep this thing in your mind and answer me.

There has to be some common interests, if all goes well, then it is a slow process of getting to know each other and hopefully love will blossom eternally !!

Friendship, but sometimes you can't help but love. Its inevitable. I don't think we necessarily chose who we love, I think its a feeling that creeps up on you.

You have to be friends with someone before you can truly love them.

Isn't friendship a form of love? After all, you're not going to befriend someone you don't like and you certainly won't love that person if you don't like them.

Unlike what another poster here said, love lasts forever, friendship seldom does, but for that kind of love you need to be friends too.

Well, I gotta' admit, me and spousey were romantic from the beginning but we did stuff together like buddies do. Fishing, 4-wheeler riding...it was a lot more fun then! Seems like we're more friends now.

Both friendship and love are able to come to an end. Love is caring and caring is a part of friendship. They both are a part of the other. How can you have one and not the other.

There is a thing "love at first site" just most of us do not get the chance to experience it for many reasons. If you build a friendship and it falls into love, if the relationship ends, most of the time the friendship goes with the lost love.
