How to memorize anything within a short period

   People just want to remember each and everything they come across especially their friends phone number,their account number,their ATM number etc.But very few are good in it.An easy way to do it is,put your total concentration on the thing you want to remember and suggest your mind that you will never,ever forget this thing.Repeat the thing to be remembered quite a few times.
       Remember,our mind will never forget things that is repeatedly said or remembered again and again.If possible link the thing to things that you can recall quickly.A boy will instantly remember a girl's name and phone number even without repeating it many times because his total concentration is in that fact and he mixes his feelings also to remember the name and number.
       He will remember them even if he is told only once.Likewise we should put our emotion strongly to remember things or think of some picture to co-relate it to the thing to be remembered.This comes easy when it is practised.

      You can try too hard to remember. Forcing yourself to remember something is trying too hard - 'I must remember... I really must remember, I've just got to remember' etc etc... this is counter-productive to remembering.
      
      Information to be remembered needs to be encoded to memory. You encode information by repeating it in your mind. Or elaborating it in such a way that the elaboration helps you process and encode the information more easily.
      
      So, if a hot girl gave you her number, being excited by this prospect is likely to impair your ability to remember. The boy will still need to repeat the number in his mind or break it down into segments or relate the number in some way to information that has already been learned.
      
      That completes todays advice for all you spotty faced geeky boys for those incredibly rare times a hot girl should give you her number.

      You can try the old trick. use numbers 1 = run, give it a name horse and out what ever you want to remember on the horses back. (IE0 two= shoe and put what you wantto remember into the shoe. just try it , it does work.

            "Run" is probably for a running horse.

   What I like to do is think of how the numbers sound when spoken and then make a little tune in my head to remember.

   The best way I have found, if there is something I need to remember, is to write it down and when you read to remember, read out loud.

   Like Gino's Blog said (but in my own words) the key is oral repetition, visual recognition, and usually since it's words that most often need memorizing, keep the sentences, messages, notes, speeches, etc. to a concise form. Don't wordy. Also, apply a technique.

    The only way I ever found to memorize number sequences especially, is to associate each number with something, ie turn it into a story.  I think this is what Kilrats story does.
