What is your favorite hospital show?

I love Scrubs. I have literally seen every show that has ever been produced of Scrubs. Grey's Anatomy has okay moments, but there's too much drama for me.

    What's yours?

I hate Hospital shows they are an insult to the real deals. They make it so dramatically and  into a "soap opera" type of show .That isn't what truly goes on in the Hospital.

I agree with that. I work in a hospital, and I've never seen someone with terminal cancer heal in two months because some incredibly handsome surgeon was working on them.

And no doctor looks like those doctors on TV. We're all disgusting and overworked.

It's Gray's anatomy...what do you mean it's too much drama? Look around (the world) and say what's too much drama?

Ooh ooh this is a good topic.
Scrubs in number one in my heart.

Recently I love Mercy, check it out if you haven't already.

      General Hospital is a stalwart.

This is very important: GREEN WING. If you haven't seen it, go on hulu and watch the first season because it's amazing. It's a 1 hour British comedy and it's so great.

I liked Chicago Hope when it was on.  Haven't really gotten into any others since then.

I agree with Mikel. House. But I'd never want to go there. Every patient is a guinea pig. The curing process is worse then the disease.

    "House" and "Scrubs."

By the way, we know that isn't what really goes on in a hospital. It's a TV show with a script. It's meant to be ENTERTAINING, not fact. lol

My partner is a retired hospital consultant in pathology and clinical chemistry. He hates hospital shows so much that I would be risking my life if I ever tried to watch one smile

Trauma without a doubt. I am loyal to Grey's and Private Practice too but recently been watching Mercy and that is pretty good.

if we are limiting it to current shows I would also go with house . . . although scrubs was pretty good before it went major network . . . or that ver y first ER sit com does anyone remember that?
Anyway, i kinda like house because unlike here, a guy can be an @sshole and successful and not lose his "job" . . .

If you mean all time, then I can't decide between ER and House. If current, it's House, followed closely by Mercy. smile
